t reccomend it because it puts a person at risk for acquiring tardive dyskinesia, a long term Parkinsonian condition which I have from the use of anti-psychotics. Unlike the current generation of antipsychotics (as opposed to the ones in development) there are many anti-depressents (Trazadone's original use) and sleep aids that do not cause this risk. Lunesta can be taken every day without risk of addiction.

To use very short term, possibly even skipping nights is ok. How many did he give you and for how long? Lunesta has some nasty side effects, driving and eating while sleeping, confusion. Did you try OTC sleep aids? Melatonin, valerian root, altering, sleep by nature made?

Do any others take Remeron with one of the above mentioned hypnotics? Can this medication combo be continued on a long term basis? Is the 2 week at a time duration sufficient to keep from becoming tolerant to zolpiedem and Lunesta? I realize they are both in the non benzodiazapine hypotnic classification, but does anyone know if they are different enough in structure to use like this? I am just trying to get by until a new classification of sleep medication gets to market.

darvocet is a weak narcotic with alot of tylenole in it...so liver problems are the most often side effect....4000 mgs of tylenol is the max dose per day..each darvacet has 650 mgs as a rule....r u taking them as prescribed?

My question that has been difficult to find an answer to, relates to long term effects. I have not been able to find at least an approximate length of time or dosages that can lead to eventual liver cancer in the future. I am currently 26 years old, in relatively good shape physically, do not drink or have any other vices that may exacerbate the vicodin effects on my liver, but am still concerned.

There's no evidence of long-term damage from their use, but no good studies, either. Theoretically, they can affect the liver, but I assume you're getting regular physicals to check that. On the other hand, you know what anxiety attacks do to your life, so stay on the Lexapro.

The meds u r asking about also known as protonix used for acid reflux and GERD.....will have side effects on some individuals.To know or understand what long term use could cause symptoms wise, ask ur pharmacist or dr. Since we all respond to meds differently it is very diff to say what long term use might do to u.....

Doc fears I may need 2 shots a week and does not want to do that yet as he does not know what the long term effects could be if I need it for the next 40 weeks. I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I did try to research Lunesta and Addrell together, not finding anything on those 2 together. The info I find on long term Lunesta use states if the person does not have prior drug abuse (I've never had this issue) there was reason to be concerned. I was not having any side effects from them at all. Question- has anyone else had problems with Lunesta and Adderall? or heard of anyone having issues with these meds? Or a reliable study showing these results or similar.

My husband had to get off of Lunesta AND Ambien after his last surgery. The docs insisted he had to taper off them because of his long-term usage. Lunesta especially was originally billed and non-addictive but they lied. The docs told me that hubby ran the risk of a central nervous system seizure if he quit abruptly. Be careful okay?
