lunesta and heart problems

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.

I sleep so great some nights and others it is a struggle.....I am either wired, heart is palpitating, etc. and then I get anxious because I cannot sleep and know that I will be tired at work the next day. I have some xanex that helps sometimes and I have tried melatonin but nothing is great at helping me. I do not like lunesta or ambien because of side effects. Oh well....just wondering about others out there and how you handle it.

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

I'm on Ambien every night, otherwise, I would only get 2 hours of sleep a night. The benefits outweigh the risks. My doctor said there is a chance of depending on it to put you to sleep, but when my newborn comes, I'll wean off of it from having to be up with him all night. I even took Ambien with my first son, and he was born picture perfect. Get some rest!

Question- has anyone else had problems with Lunesta and Adderall? or heard of anyone having issues with these meds? Or a reliable study showing these results or similar.

I started taking Ambien & Prozac in Oct 2009. I started building a resistance so my doctor prescribed for me Restoril, that didn't work so she started me on Lunesta. After I started building a resistance to the Lunesta my doctor prescribed for me Ambien CR 12.5mg. It's now March 2010 and I need 4 or more Ambien CR to sleep. I can't sleep without it!!! I haven't taken the CR 12.5mg in 24hr and I have the common addiction symptoms.

I never tried remeron, but ambien was horrible and so was resterol the taste of the lunesta that it leaves in your mouth is horrible so there is no easy answer but I did find the ativan did help for a while and I still take it with the lunesta and I agree if I get a good nights sleep the next day is much better.

) and yet, because I do have proof of small fiber neuropathy through two skin biopsies as well as autonomic neuropathy through heart problems, body temperature irregularities, etc.they find it hard to prove or treat. Sure would like to hear more about what happens to get you a claw hand. You are the first person who I've had contact with about this so I am super excited to hear more.

I was wondering if taking lunesta would help out. Ive been perscribed it for almost a year now cause ive always had problems sleeping mainly insomnia but would lunesta push any button for my past addiction? As in the percocets?? Just wondering.. seems like RLS and twitching is EVERYONES problem here =/ buhh when will it stopppppp!!!!!!

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

Do prescription drugs that are used for people like myself with chronic Insomnia cause depression? Since I have been taken Lunesta now for 8 months I have been depressed and have been prescribed Fluoxetine by my doctor. My friend Roberto has told me about a new product that is advertised on TV called Straight2sleep that he is trying. He said that it is all natural and gives him a great night sleep with no side effects. Do you know of this product and how effective is it?

I am slow to check things out, part of the reason I could be in this trouble with Hep C, but I looked at the Lunesta and it says not to take over 2mg if you have liver problems. ? I don't take it every night. But this has made me question all the drugs I am on. My tx doses are 1,000 riba and the interferon. And I am doing the white blood cell shot also once a week. This is a lot of drugs to me! Does anyone else take these?

Ive been having alot of problem with my health like peeing and pooping just can,When i dose off without lunesta i feeel like my heart is slowing down to a dangerst leval and get a feeling like im getting shocked what is going on here can some one tell me

s but they keep coming and coming. Late last night I watched a commercial about Lunesta and they mentioned that a common side effect was new or worsening depression. That caught my attention so I began to frantically research Ambien and every article I've read lists new or worssening depression as a common side effect. I've been taking Ambien off & on for the past 2 years..usually only 1/2 a tablet.

Now I am post TX and the insomnia has not yet left, so they prescribed Ambien and Lunesta for me (i grew allergic to something in the benedryl). They are all harmless to liver but the ambien & lunesta do cause dependence so I alternate them: Ambien for a couple nights, then lunesta (which does not work as well for me) for one night. The 'dependence' is not a big deal; just means you'll have a several very sleepless nights after you quit them.

Which sleep aid is less addicting and less toxic, ambien or lunesta. I have heard ambien is hard on your liver.

He went to a doctor who told him he had anxiety problems and gave him some sort of medicine along with Lunesta to help him sleep (having to concentrate on breathing made it difficult to sleep too). He says that nothing is actually stressing him out. What do you think is wrong with him?

I also have heart problems, and diabetic. However, I have a very good outlook on life, meditate often, and have photography (hobby) as a very good release of stress. I DO not let my health hold me back like one would think right off. My doctor often remarks how well I am handling life. SO, does Klonopin cause emotional changes?

its been 2 days on That dose, tday im gonna try not to take it. My Doc prescribed me some 350mg soma for the pain and lunesta for sleep. Im going to try taking soma if the pain becomes unbearable, any advice pls?

this is just my experience, and I'm not on tx yet...I can't take Lunesta and ambien, ambien makes me feel nutzo the next morning, but many people are fine with it...I take ativan if I have had a lot of sleepless nights in a row, and at a very low dose...I find tranquilizers lull me into sleep, which I prefer...best of luck...

I was on Amitriptyline for a number of years and it worked quite well until my heart started to beat faster than normal the doctor took me of them straight away. I was also on Voltaran and that caused me to have stomach problems so now I have to take Somac for that. Recently my doctor tried me on Stilnox, low dose for my sleep problem but it had a stange affect on me, I started to have memory problems, well lets say more than usual.

I am having to take sleeping pills to sleep. I tried Ambien, Ambien CR, Lunesta, and amitriptyline. Each medicine would only let me sleep for four hours a night. So I am taking the Lunesta right now. But it is very hard functioning during the day as I am very fatigued. My body previously was use to getting 8 hours of sleep a day. Do you know of any other medicines that would help with longer sleep? How long does it usually take for the sleep to return on its own?

Hey oez, I have done a TON of research on PAWS, and it effects people very differently. I was also taking Lunesta, and stop that at the same time. (Lunesta was something a took only a few nights a week. From what I understand, PAWS effects everyone differently, and the quitting CT, drastically increases the chance of getting PAWS. I did quit cold turkey. What are your symptoms? I keep getting bouts nausea, and my legs feel so weird. (like pins and needles) Also, horrible legs cramps.
