d Alrex (loteprednol etabonate ophthalmic suspension 0.2%) QID. Eyes less itchy but far vision still much worse/blurry than before exam and headaches whenever I try to wear the glasses. I go back for another exam on Saturday but am concerned about long term effects. Would you recommend seeing an ophthalmologist rather than continued exams with optometrist? Any Ddx ideas other than allergic reaction? Thank you in advance.

I went to another doctor and he said there is 99% chance of corneal dystrophy and 1% chance of viral of due to heredity by which these white spots are there is your cornea & if it not affect you eyesight it is ok ..
He checked my vision again and for any damage to the cornea and gave me 5 days of tobramycin with loteprednol etabonate 0.5%. I used it for the 5 days. My eye looked a lot less red toward the last day. Then I stopped using it as directed. Now after 4 days my eye has steadily gotten more red again. It seems to drain or be runny at night and is not painful or itchy. The other eye is fine.
i m having numullar keratitis problem after adenoviral conjuctivitis ( 2010 yr) , its 3rd time keratitis re occured , doc give me loteprednol for 1 month and it spress down but reoccured again after 1 and half yr , is there any possibility to get rid permanently from this problem or any precautions ?
Lotemax is the brand name of the drug loteprednol. It is a steroid anti-inflammatory like Pred Forte and likely is to be used in place of Pred Forte (or the other way around). You would need to ask your doctor to be sure. "Lotepred" on the label must refer to the generic name of loteprenol.
The brand name of Ketorolac, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, is Acular. So, nothing you have replaces the Ketorolac. Sorry. Maybe your doctor could give you a sample.

is repeated several times in the package insert and also on the package itself. Such instructions are not given for another common steroid, i.e. Loteprednol (Alrex or Lotemax). And it so happens that this patient uses this medication for a week and … well… discontinues therapy prematurely. I whole-heartedly agree, speaking more from experience than from blind faith in any specialist's advice that steroids are not for chronic dry eyes.
Xanax is very short acting. That's why it is considered problematic by many. I was taking clonazepam 0.5 mg until recently, and my psychiatrist didn't even like that drug (which my PCP gave me). He said clonazepam was the best of the worst, and Xanax was the worst of the worst (because it is so short acting). He says he never prescribes Xanax. I did not have trouble getting off my dose of clonazepam, which I took only at night.
I was prescribed 0.5 mg every 2 hours by a doctor and given 50 pills. I did this for one and half weeks, returned home and saw my family doctor who told me to ONLY take them if needed. I read on withdrawal and thought I bette taper off anyway just in case...
so now i take 0.25 mg twice a day, every 12 hours. I have been doing this for a week. (sometimes I will take a quarter more at one of the dosing times)
Should i just stop taking them?

i went 35 hrs without my usual 0.5 mil of xanax once a night for sleep and had to take a half of a 0.5 about 2hrs ago now i feel so slow and weighted down i am tired but cannot sleep the heart palpations have stopped and the agitation too but i hate feeling doped up how long does w/d last ? i am desperate to get off this stuff. like i said i only take 0.
I was wondering what is the difference between 0.5 mg and 1mg in regards to resistance. Will 0.5 mg of entecavir cause resistance in patients who never have been on any nucs and no polymerase resistance detected vs 1mg. My doctor wants me to take 1mg vs 0.5 mg but I have been been on any nucs and show no resistance to any nucs during genotype testing.
