I was on lo loestrin fe for about 10 days off and on because I either forgot, or I just couldn't take the side effects any longer. I got my period shortly after of course (2 weeks before it was due) that was last month. The husband and I have had unprotected sex, and I'm 4 days late. I just started a new birth control pill called lo loestrin fe. I was on a higher dose birth control but having some side effects so i switched to this one. This was my first month of taking this pill and have gone through the entire pack and did not get my period (i am 2 days into the new pack). I am not sexually active so I am not pregnant but is there a reason for not getting it? Is this bad or is it because its a new pill?
I've finally found a doctor that takes me seriously and agrees that I have all the classic symptoms of endo. Along with a family history and during the exam she thought she felt the "bands" where it had attached itself. Of course the only way to be sure is surgery but she wants to do the less envasive first......birthcontrol. I really like my new doctor but I can't help but be nervous about the side effects.

The side effects (increased acne, severe anxiety and depression, emotional lability) were so severe for her that she decided to stop before the pack was done. I have also gained a good 10-15 pounds since starting the pill up, which I have read is a common side-effect for Loestrin. The effects from the pill have me thinking that I am pregnant, even though everything else states that I am not. Between these effects and my horrible, horrible anxiety, I decided to go off the pill. Initially, the first couple days after stopping in the middle of my pack, I felt better. The swelling in my breasts went down and I had more energy.

Hi, i have been on lo loestrin fe for 1 month. Today i am taking second brown pill, which is also the last one...i feel menstrual pain for a few days, but no menstruation. I am worried! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?
I was on Loestrin 1/20 Fe for 2 years and it initially seemed to help the acne, but eventually it got worse. I switched to Estrostep 1/20 for 6 months and it got even worse. Then I switched to Ortho Cyclen in hope that the higher estrogen dosage would help. It has and my face is almost clear after 3 months. However, it has made me gain weight and be bloated all the time. This is not okay, so I definitely need to switch again because I cannot afford to buy all new clothes in the next size up.

I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?

I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe.

I was taking Loestrin Fe and had alot of spotting the first month (not necessarily while having sex). I also had more spotting in the third month. I told my doctor & she said that the hormones were too low for me. I would let your doctor know and see if there might be a better one out there for you.
My gynecologist prescribed me lo loestrin fe to help with irregular and painful periods. I started taking it the first day of my period, Dec 25. I continued to bleed until Jan 20 (CD 27/the last white pill before the brown placebo pills) I also had sex on Jan 21at around 1:00 AM using the withdraw method correctly. I took a pregnancy test on Jan 28 and it was negative.
