Do any other women get Brazilian waxing while pregnant? Waxing was the BEST thing I ever decided to do when it came to hair removal. The pain wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. However I go every 4 weeks and tonight is the 3rd time I'll be waxed since I've been pregnant. (I'm 14 weeks) I have noticed the first time it hurt a bit more than usual, then a little more the next time I went. Does waxing become more painful when pregnant or am I just crazy?
Hi i had my all my chek up before pregnancy there wer all normal but 2 week ago I went for Brazilian waxing the lady who was waxing not wearing gloves and her nail was long during waxing one of her nail was broken an bleeding and few dropes wen I've noticed it was dried already but she didnt wear gloves and since there is open porse During Brazilian waxing and the skin is inflamed and may have smal wounds the person can get hiv ?
Hello, I am A 13yr. old girl. I am African-American, and just experienced in-home eyebrow waxing for the first time. The problem is, after I was done, the area is red! it doesn't hurt, and I don't theink I have sensitive skin, but it's just really red. I followed all the directions on the 'Sally Hansen Eyebrow, Face & Lip Wax' and even used the lotion. So what can I do?
my co-worker gave me a new 10ml bottle of lidocaine, he uses it to give himself stitches. advice as to where to put the needle (i got from cvs insulin 31g-8mm),what to expect ie: will it burn- how long b4 its numb, and if i split the nail will it grow back? any advice will help..
You can go in for waxing for these hair. If you go in for waxing ,then apply cold compresses(ice cubes wrapped in a towel) on the area after waxing and take some antihistaminic like benadryl or claritin. You can also apply calamine lotion on the area . It will help in soothing the skin. The next day exfoliate with a mild scrub.
Also you can go in for laser hair removal which causes permanent reduction of hair and does not cause folliculitis also.
I don't know if there is a way to reduce the pain during waxing...unless there's some kind of numbing agent out there you can use.
Is waxing okay? I use shaving foam and razors for my legs and it just irritates them so bad is waxing safe, I.e veet?
lol i have no idea what the actually risks are, ive never looked into this but if your familiar with waxing and handle it well then im sure you would be fine...i know lots of mommas that keep up their waxing in other more sensitive areas and have no problem... personally i would do it too... but i agree always see what you Dr has to say in regards :) congrats! and good luck!
I'm an esthetician and we don't reccommend waxing that far along. It can be risky for infections like the other girl said. There may be chance of already losing your plug and what not plus its very sensitive down there.
s okay for my legs and underarms but that other certain place you know where, does not like it. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if waxing is okay and how painful it is. Also, if you have any advice on keeping clear skin with any kind of home remedies or anything cheap I would be so grateful. It's not so bad now that I'm 19 but it's a very irritating battle.
t think waxing is that bad at all. Its something you get use to if you continue to go and its so worth it!!
