You can get a prescription ointment with lidocaine and that will numb your skin. If you have not started tx yet you may be worrying more than is necessary. The shots are not painful, they give you a teeny tiny needle that is very sharp and you inject into fat so there is almost no sensation. I was worried about the injections but my fears about the injections were unfounded and I got through 48 weeks of tx (and 40 of them with an additional shot of Procrit) without any pain from the shots.
this could be due to irritation or something else. Regardless, I would consult with a doctor. Something like a topical ointment such as lidocaine (numbing) can help incredibly.

It is an unusual situation. Can it be that your girl friend has used lidocaine ointment for pain in vagina? Lidocaine can affect your glans, causing you feeling of numbness. I hope some one come out with appropriate answer to solve your problem.

A month later, I was still bleeding when I had a bowel movement. I was prescribed an ointment mixture of Lidocaine and nifedipine to apply to the fissure every day.
I know you aren't supposed to strain to go to the bathroom when you have a fissure, but due to constipation problems I had when i was a kid, i pretty much have to strain every time i go to the bathroom. I'm sort of desensitized to the feeling of having to go to the bathroom.

You'll have to take the Percocet by mouth and that should help the pain just don't put it up your nose. I'd hate to see you end up needing surgery; it's painful and disfiguring.
Prid was all I could find at walmart but cvs also carries an ointment called icthamal (probably spelled wrong, sorry) that is easier to apply being more ointment-like and less pasty. I used bacitracin because it also contains lidocaine 4% and allowed him to relax a bit while i cleaned and cared for the wound. It's just so pitiful; the poor little guy can't even sit normally, and he's getting tired of sleeping in his stomach:).
She would get little anal fissures so our family doctor wrote us a script for a compounded ointment but what really helped give her some relief was the Lidocaine topical gel our doctor prescribed for her. I put a small amount around her anus which created a numbing effect so that she would stop holding back when she had to go. I guess doctors use Lidocaine for numbing before different procedures and my doctor said it worked wonders for hemorrhoids, too.
I am using Benadryl, Keri lotion, and Hydrocortizone cream for the rash and itching, but I will admit, so far mine has been mild.

2 nights ago I was wiping after urinating & had such severe pain I jumped & trembled. I felt the area and on the inside of the labia majora I had a bright red nodule the size of a pea. I got a mirror & looked and lightly felt it. It was solid & movable under the skin but the pain was insane. It woke me up twice & I ended up putting the topical lidocaine for my chemo port just to get some rest. Well, this morning it hurt even worse, any movement & instant pain.
Problem is i started getting patches of raised bumps , like pimples and they itch , never had this before now .. I read you should not use zovirax ointment on the inside vaginal are , what do I do , My Doctor evidently does not give directions well or is this not the case, iam scared been withmy husband 16yrs and never had any problems and all of a sudden I have raised bumps all over ... She gave me valtrex and I had a svere allergic reaction to it. Migrains , skin rash and sore throat.
This is fairly easily treated - use a topical antibiotic ointment along with your antifungal. Bacitracin works wonders. I'd recommend getting it with lidocaine as well in order to help any associated pain. Follow up with a moisturizing lotion. It's important to apply this after showering. If you can, I would recommend applying it 3x daily.
It typically clears up in a couple weeks.
If it is not better already, treat it the way you would any burn on your skin. An antibiotic ointment will help.
Do not make it a habit. Just do some time to gain confidence. You may small quantity of lidocaine ointment on your glans to numb it temporary. This may help you to prevent premature ejaculation. This is normal . you will overcome this problem as you get experience.Do not worry. Remain cheerful. Fear of failure in sex, is demoralizing and depressing..Create confidence. You may read many other posting where members have suggested several methods..
