I've been on combination birth control for about 5 months now (first Levora, then switched to Portia 2 months in), and I've had breakthrough periods before. In the past, they were like my regular periods: lighter, but similar general consistency and flow so I would have to wear a pad. Recently, I've noticed that when I wipe, there's been light traces of blood which I thought was just my breakthrough period.
i'm not sure about this but i just went to the clinic and got switched back onto my old birth control today in hopes that my anxiety will go away. about six or seven months ago i stopped taking yasmin because i just didn't feel like dealing with having to rememeber to take a pill everyday....(lazy i know).
t work, so my Gyn re-prescribed Levora 3 weeks ago. Within a few days of taking Levora again I noticed that I was much more mentally vulnerable and by the third week on Levora I was completely destroyed emotionally and mentally. This last weekend I had very strong desires to kill myself by stabbing myself repeatedly. I have a great husband who has helped me stay safe and talked me through the difficult times. I am not ready for a hysterectomy/ooverectomy yet.
I have been on levora birth control for four months now and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days in a row and he finished inside of me, we usually don't do that. However, now I'm getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week.
I started oral birth control 20 days ago (levora I think its called). My husband and I had unprotected sex abt 2 weeks before that and my period ended on the same day I started taking the pills. Since then we usually use condoms but a few times haven't. I heard its not uncommon for a woman to miss her period the 1st month on these pills. i have been on levora for 3 yrs now. about 2 months ago i started having weird symptoms. My boobs randomly will hurt, or sometimes just 1 nipple. I become moody easily, and sometimes sad easily, i've been getting bloated. i've been feeling bloated and today started cramping mildly. last month i didn't have a normal period it was very light (only needed a pantyliner if that), the blood was brown, had no cramps and it lasted 3 days. I took 2 HPT both were negative.
I started taking Levora birth control pills at the end of February. I had been on this brand before, years ago, with no complications after being prescribed Ortho-TricyclineLo which was a nightmare. It was recommended to me to start taking BC due to potential hormonal imbalances (potentially PCOS due to excessive hair growth) and this lined up with a new sexual relationship so I agreed even though I prefer not to use hormonal birth control.
Hi. I've been on Portia birth control for six months now. I take it on time every day, the most off I've ever been is about an hour and a half. What are the chances of genital rubbing without a condom and without ejaculation causing pregnancy?
I need help I have no idea what is going on in my body and I need to know if this is serious or not. I started taking (500 milligrams) garlic tablets and (1000 miligrams) Vitamin C tablets to ward of any infection if there is one. I am really scared to be honest and I need someone to help me out. Im on levOra, have been for 5 mOnths. I have horrible allergies so last week I took 1 antibiotic pill to try & stop my symptoms. This was about 5 days ago. Will I get pregnant if I have sex unprotected?
I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.
I recently gave birth and got my tubes tied. I want to know if it is possible to take the pill to regulate my cycle, as well as to lessen the cramps and the bleeding. I have had two periods since I had my son the first one was short and sweet but the second one was awful. I had to change every hour. I have never had cramps or extremely heavy bleeding but now I have both. I don't even get any relief pain wise until I take four pills. I don't want to get into to much detail but its bad.
I had asthma since I was five and it is getting worse and worse coz my chest and lungs is feeling really painful whenever I do sports and I no longer can do sports as long as I want now. Every time after I had asthma attack, I will either faint, dehydrated, lack of energy or feeling extremely dizzy which I can't even walk straight. These symptoms will at least last for two hours. Will I get anoxia or other sickness other then asthma?

Recently I've been diagnosed with a bit of Bipolar Disorder. My doctor put me on Lamotrigine, a mood stabilizer normally used to treat epilepsy, seizures. I've experienced a little bit of blurred vision every now and then from it but wonder why I'm having a small trace of vaginal bleeding every once in a while. I'm on Portia as a birth control method and I haven't had my period for a while now.
Am I going to get period on the date that I normally would or will the taking the BC pill before my period slow it down? I don't have 21 day pills but 28, no placebo. Will I still get my period ?
Alright im on levora bc pills. i normally take them regularly. my periods are 28 days apart (last like 5-6 days moderately heavy bad cramps.) anyways it all started last month. i had sex regularly from feb 21-march 1 and i did miss a pill on feb 25 (stupid i know.) anyways before my period was due i noticed bad nip pain like almost a burning. it lazted a few days and was on and off. i also kept gettin dizzy spells and nausea. my period was due the 13 i started a day late.
