Avatar f tn i'm not sure about this but i just went to the clinic and got switched back onto my old birth control today in hopes that my anxiety will go away. about six or seven months ago i stopped taking yasmin because i just didn't feel like dealing with having to rememeber to take a pill everyday....(lazy i know).
Avatar f tn m getting nervous because I hear that levora is a low dose pill and they are easy to get pregnant on.. I usually take it at 8 am sometimes I'm an hour late but usually I always take it at 8. I'm on the third week of my pack so I should be starting my period next week. I just need some peace of mind because I'm really nervous.
Avatar f tn I have had one laparoscopy to prove endometriosis and regular paps. In May 2007, I started taking Levora birth control pills on a continuous basis to avoid normal menstrual cycles. I stopped taking them in March 2008 to see if they had helped stop the endometriosis for good. It didn't work, so my Gyn re-prescribed Levora 3 weeks ago.
Avatar f tn They were also always very heavy and painful, hence why my mother opted to put me on Levora. I loved the Levora because it regulated my periods to 28 days apart like clockwork and also alleviated the heavy flow and cramps. Even when I went off of it for a few months my period remained regular. Well I was forced to get off of it at age 27 after a blood test came back and showed I have Prothrombin Thrombophilia, a genetic disorder that increases my risk of blood clots.
Avatar f tn I had to take penicillin for something a while back and my doctor told me to use condoms or refrain from sex.
Avatar m tn so for the past 6 months i've been on levora, a birth control. the past couple of months i've been having aches on my right side, i'm pretty sure it's my ovary (and no i do not think it's ovulatin, those aches last only a day). these aches are on and off the whole month.i had my withdrawal bleed about 2 and a half weeks ago so i doubt i'm pregnant. i'm very good at taking the pill as well. i've been with my.
Avatar f tn I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.

Avatar f tn I recently gave birth and got my tubes tied. I want to know if it is possible to take the pill to regulate my cycle, as well as to lessen the cramps and the bleeding. I have had two periods since I had my son the first one was short and sweet but the second one was awful. I had to change every hour. I have never had cramps or extremely heavy bleeding but now I have both. I don't even get any relief pain wise until I take four pills. I don't want to get into to much detail but its bad.
Avatar f tn Thanks and I definitely will take one before starting a new kill pack.
Avatar n tn So, combining is a chance of more hormonal fluctuation which can lea to this situation. I would wait until it is a better situation to go to the doctor but this sounds to be related to that change in bc.
Avatar f tn Alright im on levora bc pills. i normally take them regularly. my periods are 28 days apart (last like 5-6 days moderately heavy bad cramps.) anyways it all started last month. i had sex regularly from feb 21-march 1 and i did miss a pill on feb 25 (stupid i know.) anyways before my period was due i noticed bad nip pain like almost a burning. it lazted a few days and was on and off. i also kept gettin dizzy spells and nausea. my period was due the 13 i started a day late.
Avatar m tn i had the same problems with Yaz. I was on yasmin and when asking for more from my doctor she accidenty wrote yas...not yasmine so i tried it for a few months. it was horrible. I become very depressed and moody, gained weight, had bad acne, and become very paranoid. I switched to levora which i've been on ever since ( 3yrs). My symptoms all went away once i stopped taking Yaz. I'm not sure if it would take 4 months of your hormones to regulate...
Avatar f tn You're definitely going to have to test. BC pills take at least a month to become fully effective in the body, and since you've not used protection at times you're at risk. It is not possible however to feel the kicks you've described and them be from a baby. I would see when you're next cycle is due and take a pregnancy test to see what happens.
Avatar f tn s not uncommon to just not get one ever. She advised that if I have any reason to believe I may be pregnant, to take a urine test to be sure. My BF and I have sex without a condom and no pulling out, but I haven't had an issue in 2+ years on the pill. So I took a urine test anyway and it came out negative. Reading a lot about Junel Fe 1/20 and many women just never get periods bec their lining is so thin from the pill!
Avatar n tn My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since May. I was on Levora (birth control) and went off of it in April. For the first few months April, May, June, July...my periods were irregular, which is to be expected, since I went off of the pill. They SEEMED to be regualar in Aug. Sept. and then in October, I didn't have a period. I wasted so much time and money taking pregancy test (blood and otc) and no pregancy.
Avatar f tn I've tried 3 different kinds of birth controls (Lutera Levora & now Tri-nessa) in the last 3 months to help with my sever migraines. The goal was to have a period every 3 months to avoid month migraines with my period. And during these three months I have experienced continuous bleeding. About two weeks ago I started taking Tri-Nessa and i still am bleeding (definitely more than a spotting).
Avatar f tn i have been on levora for 3 yrs now. about 2 months ago i started having weird symptoms. My boobs randomly will hurt, or sometimes just 1 nipple. I become moody easily, and sometimes sad easily, i've been getting bloated. i've been feeling bloated and today started cramping mildly. last month i didn't have a normal period it was very light (only needed a pantyliner if that), the blood was brown, had no cramps and it lasted 3 days. I took 2 HPT both were negative.
Avatar f tn I had been on this brand before, years ago, with no complications after being prescribed Ortho-TricyclineLo which was a nightmare. It was recommended to me to start taking BC due to potential hormonal imbalances (potentially PCOS due to excessive hair growth) and this lined up with a new sexual relationship so I agreed even though I prefer not to use hormonal birth control. The first month was fine, the second month I had some heavy breakthrough bleeding.
Avatar f tn Hi please help how to take eveprim? My dr prescribed it to me but i forget to ask how to take it.. she just told me to take it every night?
Avatar f tn What is the best way to take levoxyl 175mcg tablets? Is it okay to take it in the am with all your other meds?
Avatar n tn Are you on cytomel ONLY? What are your thyroid levels - FT4, FT3 and TSH? Do you have Hashimoto's? 50 mcg cytomel seems like a lot - and I would most likely split it into at least 2 doses, but that would depend on your labs. I wonder why she didn't give you any T4 med. cytomel is a T3 only med which is about 4 times more potent than T4 and is taken into the system quickly and is gone quickly, whereas the T4 med builds gradually.
