Levitra and heart attack

Common Questions and Answers about Levitra and heart attack

levitra

Avatar f tn I would have thought the doctor would have then dug deeper to find the physical cause to then treat that but instead just gave him a sample of Levitra to use if he wanted to have sex. The Levitra did help, but not all that much...the erection was soft and still failed shortly after attaining and there was of course no climax or ejaculation for him. He also had quite a headache the next day and at $14 a dose doesn't seem to be a good solution.
Avatar f tn I worked for a urologist several yrs ago who specialized in Peyronies disease and I don't recall him ever prescribing Levitra or any other ED med for it.
Avatar m tn d had a fun but busy day. We decided to lie down, and one thing led to another... I took a Levitra and we had foreplay while the drug took effect. I achieved an erection, but couldn't sustain it. I was laying on my back and she gave me oral, and it still seemed to shrink. We got it back up and she climbed on top, and it would last for awhile, but it would shrink. I was never able to climax. Needless to say, it's frustrating.
Avatar m tn Although rare, Viagra (sildenafil), Cialis (tadalafil) and Levitra (vardenafil) can cause muscle pain and unusual skin sensations or paresthesia. In clinical studies, Viagra caused muscle pain and paresthesia in less than 2% of patients. Patients who experience these side effects should stop taking the medication and consult their physician. These medications increase blood flow to the penis by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
Avatar n tn He cried when I found out about the Levitra and said he never told me about it because he was embarrased. We have been married for 27 years. I don't want to throw all those years away, especially with our children, who are 10 and 12. What do you think about this situation. Do I believe him. I know he is not seeing this other woman, but at the same time I never heard of using Levitra for masturbating.
Avatar n tn The first step is to see if you can change your medication. If you have a heart condition and need to take nitrates you will not be able to take Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis.
Avatar m tn ve been taking Cialis for over a year with excellent results and no relevant side effects. I also tried Levitra and it worked fine but Cialis is my favorite. Everyone is different, though: some men prefer Levitra, others prefer Cialis or Viagra.
Avatar m tn I’m a 48 years old male and I have diabetes and I’m taking insulin for this. My question is can I use lavitra? I found some information about it at http://www.levitrabliss.com/diabetes_and_levitra.html , I want to know more before I would go for it .
Avatar n tn I have been prescribed Levitra and viagra for the past ten years and they have worked well. I was talking mainly 20mg Levitra. A few months ago this only resulted in a less than satisfactory "half erection" and that has been the case since. However I have been woken during the night with a good erection so the "plumbing must still be working.
Avatar m tn t too sure it was going to do anything, but the doctor prescribed it anyway, we tried it and it was wonderful. Levitra 20mg has completely changed my life. What more can I say?
Avatar n tn My last biopsy of my prostate was 7-05 and consisted of seventeen bites and I got an prostate infection which lasted for over a year..My question is my prostate has a lot of old scar tissue ,could this be causing the bleeding and body tissue issues, along with Levitra? Or coud this be from my past prostate infection? My PSA is the lowest its ever been . It is now .30 Thanks for any help you can give me....
Avatar m tn Since a doctor needs to prescribe either, then ask your prescribing physician. Don't do online pharmacies for this though as they are often not legit or reliable. Go to a regular pharmacy to get it.
Avatar f tn What does this sound like, and what can I do about it? I am a Type 2 Diabetic, and take Metformin, Januvia, and Zoloft for anxiety.
Avatar f tn i recently had two ecgs because i thought i was having a heart attack i have been really scared but the er doctor assured me that because i am 30 it was very unlikely unless i did drugs like cocaine but my dad died on this past fathers day of a heart attack and he was 51 my fear of having a heart attack is very high and i am not satisfied and my doctor does not want me to see a cardiologist i just do not know what to do now
Avatar m tn t going to have a heart attack. He then listened to my heart and told me that it was just stress and anxiety. Can you help me out please and relieve me of my worry?
Avatar n tn When he rests he has no pain at all and its only on movement - surely with a heart attack you would have continous pain and not just on movement
Avatar f tn My boyfriend came over to my place Saturday morning, he brought breakfast for everyone, and a new game for our Wii which we all played happily until I had to take my 3 kids to thier Dad's place. I also took my youngest son (his Daddy is my boyfriend) so he could nap in the car. It was decided that when I got back into town I pick up my boyfriend and we go out shopping.

Avatar f tn i was just googling my symptoms and found these symptoms linked again and again with heart attacks I was wondering if you think this could have actually been a heart attack. I dont really like doctors, and hate feeling like a time waster. I would just like your opinion on what you think this may have been. Thankyou.
Avatar f tn Recently had a EKG (actually two) and it suggested a prior mild heart attack. I am scheduled by my cardiologist for a nuclear stress test. I was questioned about any chest pains and could remember none. However, I do remember that my dentist a number of yrs. ago, injected novocaine and I had a terrible reaction, shakiness , flushed and having a difficult time breathing. The doctor said sometime the injection will go straight into my blood system and cause this .
Avatar f tn I am on Plavix for my Heart Attack and my husband is on Coumadin for a blood clot he had 3 years ago 1 month after he had broken his ankle and had to have surgery. I say he should be off the Coumadin already. He went back to work full time after the broken ankle and also lost 60 lbs. He says the Plavix is just as bad.
Avatar n tn Several years ago I had a silent heart attack and was in ER for 3-4 days with consgested heart failure. The RCA was stented providing more blood to the deficit area and wall motion returned to normal with medication as well as a reduction of heart size and normal contractions.
976897 tn?1379167602 Just had angioplasty for a heart attack and thought I would post the experiences so others can hopefully benefit in some way or other. It was last thursday morning when I walked upstairs to the bathroom. I felt very light headed, so much that it was a real effort to not pass out. I had chest pains on a scale 1-10 (8) which would not go away even when I was relaxed. Sweating was incredible, I haven't sweated so much in all my life. No palpitations and no shortness of breath.
Avatar n tn Standard recommendation is not to second guess. If you have the idea that it may be heart related, and you don't feel right, get yourself to the ER. Better to be reassured than to wait and have an event. Maybe make a call to your GP to discuss what happened and what you felt and see what they recommend, even though your symptoms may have subsided by now. Ever had an EKG done? Be well and take care.
Avatar f tn If you have no history of depression it seems likely to me there is some physiological reason for the symptoms you describe. I would suggest another more proactive step, and that is to go to a diagnostic clinic like Mayo, Cleveland, or a university hospital where you can be evaluated by a team of specialists. If you are not making progress in your health, then your doctor treating you now should be very willing to make a referral. If not, do it on your own.
Avatar m tn If you went to the hospitial within hours after your episode there are identifying markers....the marker CK-MB would show an increase above normal in your blood test about six hours after the start of a heart attack. It reaches its peak level in about 18 hours and returns to normal in 24 to 36 hours.a blood test. You probably don't need to go to your doctor if you have only fainted one time and you are in otherwise good health. Fainting is common and usually not serious.
Avatar f tn Please go to ER now to be checked. They'll do some blood work to check for enzymes that appear after a heart attack and of course you'll be hooked up to an ECG. Nothing very threatening but you need to know if you did have a mild heart attack, whether there was any damage done and how prevent another one. Please...
