What are your experiences with the following drugs? I want to start with the drug that I have the best chance of maintaining my intellect, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and personalty.

Tegretol, onther other hand is also indicated for seizure. The main component is Carbamazepine. Drug reaction to the body can be: dizziness, ataxia, fatigue, drowsiness, skin reactions, headache, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, edema, fluid retention, AND increased weight. I see these color blobs that move in my vision that shouldn’t be there, they don’t show any connection to stimuli so I don’t have synesthesia. I’m on levetiracetam aka keppra and clobazam aka onfi. When I was on oxcarbazepine (trileptal) and levetiracetam (keppra) I started having these weird headaches where I would lose my vision, hearing, smell, and coordination, but I could still speak and feel. The doctors are pretty much stumped. Has anyone ever had a situation like this?
I found similar symptoms with this drug too Heidi. I was put on it after having one (believed to be generalized focal seizure??) after a brain aneurysm. To be honest, I chose to take my chances off this medication as I was finding it was making me feel really depressed. Discuss it with yr GP and see if theres any alternative? Or maybe u need the dosage adjusting?
I am an Indian Citizen living in the US. I have been taking LEVETIRACETAM (to control partial-onset seizures) since 2011. Currently, I am in perfect health conditions. As a precautionary medicine, I get the medicine from India either myself or through a friend/family member traveling between India and the US. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I am running short of medicine. I have my prescription and medical certificates to support my condition.
Pharmacotherapy usually involves drug modulating GABAergic neurotransmission like Levetiracetam, Piracetam, Clonazepam or Valproic acid against prescription. I suggest you to consult neuro physician for his further evaluation and management. Take care and regards.
No report can highlight spot.Physicians already tried Tegrital,Fresium,Lemitec kid,Levipil,Valparin.No drug can control seizures.In first step Doctors recognize seizures as gelastic type.At last they named it as Refrectory seizures.
Please suggest me any better options to stop seizures.
I am taking tablets for my minor neural problem for the past 4 years, The tablets i am consuming are Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) -300mg and Levetiracetam (keppra) -250mg. Now I am looking for a tablet which should have both of this content in the same. I feel guilty that I am taking more tablets and my health condition is improved now. so I planned to reduce my tablet dosage. so I look over this- i.e.
can levetiracetam 750mg (2 2 times a day) be taken with amlodipine 10mg (1 time a day) and albuterol 90mcg (2 pumps 4 times a day). Can these be mixed? I this too much medicine?
There have been reports of effective seizure control from patients following up monthly. They are using Levetiracetam (Keppra) as an adjuvant to another first line anti-epileptic medication. Most of them are suffering from partial seizures. And the first line drug is mostly Tegretol. Only a few patients have complained about mood swings so far. All had predominantly depressed mood, but not to the extent of being called depressive disorder. This must be about 10% of the patients.
When did the sexual problems start. was it before or after starting your medication? These meds may be causing the problem. I did look them up and there was not anything in the side effects category that mentioned this problem. But, these meds can be very sedating and they do work on the central nervous system.
I take it your using them to control seizures? The Phenobarbital has a very long half life, meaning it stays in the system for a long time. Your taking a pretty high dose.
Who knows? All three of these drugs target at least in part the way the brain processes serotonin. The Zoloft is an ssri, and solely targets serotonin. The other two target other neurotransmitters along with serotonin. The possible danger is getting serotonin syndrome, which is an overdose basically of serotonin.
m really concerned about him and if anybody has experienced this and knows what it is or has any information about it please, please let me know. I know I don't have all the facts about what happens to him because i'm not the one experiencing it, but from what i've seen it's really taking a toll on him.
For some, one is not enough and they need 2, 3, or 4 others! (I have seen it). It is not excessive to have more than one drug. Each drug works on a different receptor in the brain. The more ways a seizure can be prevented, the more likely the dog is to not have them. We start off giving one and hope they respond, but may need more. They can occasionally have breakthrough seizures, but as long as it is no more than 1 or 2 every 30 days, the dog is considered well controlled.
I did not want to take the medicine, but realize that i did suffer from depression and other things, and for me this drug really works, and it does not make me feel high or groggy (maybe for a little while in the beginning) but it all leveled out, now looking back at my life i realize that i do need this medicine, and if i could not take the zoloft i would be trying to find something that works, that is how much this antidepressant has changed my life......
At this point of time he is not able to speak more than two words in a row. His Hb is 8.9. He is on valporate, topiramate and levetiracetam. His MRI scan revealed "Assymetric Right Temporal Horn prominence without any difinite evidence of mesial scerosis"
His walking pattern is also erratic. Most often he adopts "Toe Walking". When he walks slowly, which is rare, he walks alright. Always he tries to rush up and runs in an imbalancing manner.

m asking please if is it possable that if i take the drug sitagliptin it would mean i could reduce the gliclazide and stop the mrtformin my Diabetes is well controlled on the whole but my nurse as requested i increase the glicazide
