Avatar n tn Levaquin is making me nauseous. No Vomiting or anything just a upset stomach.
Avatar n tn I was on it for roughly 8 weeks(surgical infection) and the only side effect i had was pityriasis rosacea(sp)it's a rash from extended antibiotic use.
Avatar n tn As a last resort before sinus surgery my doctor put me on Clyndamyacin and Levaquin. I am taking protonix while on it and Align. I have Crohn's disease but it is stable and I take Asacol (2400mg) daily. Should I be taking anything else to avoid stomach upset?
Avatar n tn First it is entirely possible to get afib via gas bloat and other stomach and digestive tract disorders. If your stomach and digestive tract is as described then you must have inflamation. All this inflamation and bloat and gas will push up on your diaphram and surrounding areas and cause great discomfort and pain but also can press upon nerves.
Avatar n tn Up until a few months back everything was fine. Now the day after a heavy workout gym or running. I get an upset stomach, bloating and bile backing up into the esophagus. Not too much nausea just the feeling that I may be sick. I've started drinking loads more water. The symptoms can last a few days.. Has yours fixed itself??
Avatar f tn My gyno-urologist gave me an antibiotic for inflamation, which worked for a while but I wasn't able to finish it (horrid side effects- stomach upset, nausia) so now I'm back to square one. Doctor wants me to do one of those 24 hour urine diaries. Hoping to find some relief soon.
Avatar n tn and he gave me four more days of antibiotics 10/17-Three week’s later infection seemed to be coming back so I was prescribed cipro and vicodin and celebrex 11/7-Six weeks later infection never cleared up, swelling was down but still had intense pain in testicles, referred to another Dr, had second scrotal ultrasound Prescribed levaquin and more vicoden and celebrex Around 11/20 Met with Dr. again and told me the epididmytis is clearing up 12/6/07 Met with Dr.
Avatar f tn decided to keep it. Urine tested negative for bacteria but was put on antibiotic for 2 wks. My stomach became upset with pain at night so stopped that. Now, have a few casts but have never had blood, pus or inability to pass urine with this so---- am wondering if it could be Fibro affecting the Bladder?
Avatar f tn ***I have had horrible panic attacks in the past year and I have suffered from horrible headaches in the sinus areas and in the jaw, I have had bad indigestion and upset stomach, muscle twitches, ear fullness, pressure and popping, very bad trouble balancing, dizziness, nausea, heart palpatations, difficulty breathing, skin hot to the touch, creepy crawly sensations on my face head and scalp, flushing with red itchy skin, horrible muscle pain, horrible treamors, internally vibrating while fallin
Avatar n tn I went in to my new doctor the next day (the pain had already started to go away before I saw him) and he called it epididymitis as well. He perscribed Levaquin for a week and I felt fine after that. I ended up traveling to Ecuador and became ill with some sort of food poisoning during the last 2 or 3 days of my antibiotics cycle. The food poisoning passed I thought and I had sex with my girlfriend.
Avatar f tn I looked at what the side effects are, and guess what, they are; ankle swelling, headache, tiredness, dizziness, stomach upset and others so that could explain why i'm getting all these things happening. I'll see how I go and write down my symptoms. Well thats my day and now I feel so drained so i'm gonna watch TV and chill. Let me know how you have been getting on and take care. Talk to you soon.
Avatar n tn I didn't know what it was until I went to the emergency as I was really dizzy, foggy headed, upset stomach and migraine. They told me I had a sinus infection (no xrays) I took my antibiotics for the 14 days and after a day of beong off the antobiotics I now have a second sinus infection. This one way worse. I'm swollen under my eyes, suffer form eye pain, headaches on the left side, discharge in my left eye, nose pains and shortness of breath. Where do I go from here?
Avatar f tn side cramps, gas, hard to pass stool, hard to pass gas, gurgling and occassional upset stomach. All that almost always after I eat, but mostly when I'm stressed and worried. But the symptoms have changed over the last 3 months. I'll leave you with this you can related too: I was watching Ray Romano doing a stand-up routine on tv. He said when you reach a certain age you start worrying about every little bump you find.
Avatar f tn When I was really struggling the hardest with AVNRT (a type of PSVT, as you all probably know), I asked doctors repeatedly why it seemed that my symptoms were related to a) my menstrual cycles and b) stomach upset/indigestion/GERD/etc. Both times the docs seemed to think there wasn't a connection. But it certainly seems from this thread that anecdoctal evidence is very strong for both connections! Anyway, I had RFCA (radio frequency catheter ablation) last Wednesday, March 22.
Avatar n tn He has seen several gastroenterologists, and has had an upper endoscopy which showed lesions in the stomach and duodenum. He is currently taking Carafate, Prilosec, and Anaspaz (and he has been taking them for several weeks now). However, he is still having symptoms of pain, nausea, and flatulence. Just yesterday, his doctor put him on Lexapro becaue he is depressed from feeling so bad for so long.
209384 tn?1231171906 If it says drink plenty of water then DRINK. I know feeling sick and having your stomach upset AND swelling you probably dont feel like it but thats an awful lot of meds in your system!! When my daughter almost killed herself from hairdye ( long story) they had her take priolsec and claritan to help cover "all the bases" if she skiped one of them then her stomach started acting up. Might be worth a shot to try it.
Avatar n tn Have been suffering from dizziness, nausea, one-sided facial pressure, pressure on back of skull and occasional diarrhea and stomach upset since July 2007. Had thyroidectomy in September, saw GI doctor for intestinal problems after that; had upper and lower endoscopy done, which came back normal. Was put on Clidinium for the stomach problems, and they seemed to subside, but just came back recently. Started taking Clidinium again today.
Avatar n tn (CT scan finally confirmed that). Then still had ear troubles and the Ketek antibiotic didn't help ENT then gave me Levaquin and more steroids(pill & injection) At same time places a vent tube in my left ear. I immediately felt a horrible pressure in my right ear but strangly enough it would sometimes feel like my left ear was full. Then I get right ear tubed. So, for almost 2 years with the tubes and able to fly.
503727 tn?1210442710 Two weeks ago my doctor gave me some samples of cymbalta to try, but it makes me sick just thinking of it. My stomach gets so upset and i always quit taking the meds day or two. Mine are 30mg too, so if you try it before me please let me know how it went.
212161 tn?1476095111 I have taken that antibiotic and some stomach upset was my only side effect.
Avatar n tn They happen in his foot, stomach, arm, cheek, ear, and other parts of his body. We have been looking at going to a neurologist, not sure if it will help him. We also found his blood pressure extremely high. In our society today we have an over abundace amount of stress, I am sure that is no help at all. I would like to know if there are specific questions, and solutions to look at from those that have already been down this path.
Avatar n tn feeling dizzy and lightheaded at times; feel sick to my stomach at times; and overall I just feel different. I will be seeing a doctor this week for some testing. Any suggestions on how to feel more comfortable or to control the shaky legs (not sure if that is a low blood sugar issue). I have been trying to eat better, but I still feel awful sometimes.
Avatar n tn Like you I've had a stomach problem (cramping, bloating) for the past three and a half months and just saw my doctor last week. I had a blood test done along with a abdominal x-ray for a start. Next week I go back for the results. "rmeg" mentioned heavy metals is something to consider so I thought I'd mention that I've gone through five "Ion cleanse" treatments and in every treatment I've had a lot of black flecks which indicate heavy metals in my body.
Avatar m tn On one of the days it was one of my worst headaches ever. Combined with these symptoms, my appetite seemed to shrink and my stomach seemed to be upset. I have lost about 7-8 pound. I also seem to have a low fever 100.3. I am also pretty tired for most of the day. I went to the doc and cmp, cbc, ua, and cxr is all normal. They tested me for strep and even though I have had the flu shot they tested for that and I don't have the flu. They prescribed Levaquin which didn't seem to work.
Avatar m tn For the last few months I've been having quite a bit of trouble with angioedema and uticaria. Experienced stomach upset and headache during periods of swelling. Notice swelling in feet which often forms small blisters on the soles. Also experienced facial swelling of lips, tongue, and eyes and these episodes seem to be getting worse.
Avatar m tn If you walk a lot at work, your feet will hurt more so than before. cipro did make me have an upset stomach if I didn't eat before hand. Just remember to not consume anything with lots of calcium 2 hours before or after.
Avatar n tn Hi all. New to this. I am a 44 year old woman who is physically fit (gym 5 days a week) and eats pretty well. Approx 5 weeks ago I developed veins showing on both hands. They have not gone away and infact they are bulging most times, and I can "feel them". They have increased and I can see some starting to climb up my forearm now. Before this, my veins barely ever showed.
1175033 tn?1492204828 After the last round of Levaquin I started waking in my sleep with night sweats and a pounding sensation through my stomach and chest assuming now those were palpitations And I have fluttering of my heart a few times as well. My stomach was so upset one morning I threw up which I don't do often, and it was all bile. Through this whole time I was eating probiotics to protect my stomach because I have chronic gastritis so I have to prevent it from flairing as much as possible.
211940 tn?1267884866 However, he said it could NOT be causing me so much pain. He checked out my arm and noticed a hard soft tissue knot, and suggested removing it through surgery and it "might" relieve my pain. So, 3 weeks ago I had the said surgery and it was removed (a hard soft tissue mass about the size of a marble). No, this was not the cyst inside my humerus bone. Anyways, I still have the pain, and it is extremely terrible at night (on a scale of 1 to 10, a 20 at night).
