Well, I had some issue in my ear, a little bit of pain and a feeling of fullness in right ear, may be some hearing loss as well but not sure. I was on levaquin a couple years ago, it made me very sick to my stomach and gave me some joint pain. I didn't realize until after I took it that it can damage tendons and I read it can also cause hernias. I would never take it again. That's just my opinion, I would also ask for something else.

I am very concerned, as it seems everyday, there is a new symptom. I know that levaquin assaults the CNS, but the photophobia and hearing probs did'nt start til 3 yrs after the levaquin. If you have been taking levaquin, do not have a urine chlamydia test. Levaquin cures chlamydia and would make the test negative, even if you were infected recently. At this point, there is no point in having any more chlamydia testing at all.

At this point I still had a bit of swelling in the testicle and spoke with my urologist and was prescribed another course of levaquin. ive taken it for 7 days now and see that i am still having the clear discharge and have some discomfort. also, i was also treated for a mycoplasma pnemonia infection about 3 weeks prior and was given clarithomycin for 10 days. i went to a new doctor, because I just moved out of state, and am waiting the results of a urinalysis.

I have had a thyroid issue for 9 years and I have dealt with Tinnitus on and off throughout. Last night I woke up with major ringing in my left ear and I would say a 25% loss in hearing.
