leflunomide class

i take the leflunomide (arava) but also take pills for the reflux, which does help. I take renitidine i believe it is called. I found it worked pretty good for the swelling myself. I am also on the Embrel, but still do not have R.A under control. I just wanted to say that the arava was the best drug i have taken up until i was put on the embrel. I live in B.

hi is there anyone on the site been on trials for this new med as i have to start this med once i have saw my rematologist apparently its on trial at the moment or has been for a few years it should help with my arthritis as well as slowing down my ms,i started on leflunomide today 100mg for 3 days then 20mgs every day after until i see about going on this new med teriflunomide they are supposed to be similar i read a trial post on another forum and there seems to be good reports on it any info

He has been on a combination of Arava 20 mg ( Hydroxychloroquine) and Plaquenil (Leflunomide) . He has been going severly downhill since January and has lost 40 pounds, has constant mucous drainage that he chokes on especially after meals, and has severe shortness of breath. Can these symptoms be a result of the medications he is taking? Is it safe for him to take two synthetic DMARDS at the same time?

t find them particulaly helpful. My class just covered what I had already read in the 1 pregnancy book I bought so I talked to the instructor and stopped going.

FTM as well, I'm taking classes, the natural birthing class, breastfeeding and New parents class.

If you are worried, see if there is one you can schedule earlier. You can often find them at area hospitals and through the county resource centers.

Did you still go to birthing class even though you were having a scheduled c section? I just wanna know if I should go or would it be a waste of time/money.

Often children who use these methods of diversion are trying "to cover up" that they are unable to do the class work. Have you discussed this possibility with his teacher?

Can you go by yourself to a childbirth class? My hubby would go.but if he takes off a Saturday he's losing 150$ off his paycheck. Money we need right now. The class said per couple so I was assuming you'd need to go with a partner. I do not have anybody that's close like that to go with me either. I have way more acquaintances then actual friends right now.

I'm going to take a breastfeeding class and the pregnancy class. I'm a FTM and neither of us (husband and I) have been around young children or in the L&D section of the hospital. So even if i don't get a tun of info, I feel any is better than none. But then again we are the kinda people that are always over prepared.

Who has taken the breastfeeding class? Do you feel it was worth it? I am debating taking it, there is only 2 left so I need to decide.

Random question starts with some rambling but I'll get to the point soon I promise. I'm a first time mom and I'm 36 weeks pregnant and 5 days. I'm due December 25. So today I went to my first birthing class and I brought a list of questions which the instructor answered everything. I'm the only woman in the class that is due this month the others are due in January and February.

Health class is nothing compared to being pregnant! LOL I didn't realize how much vaginal discharge you can have during the pregnancy. Panty liners become your best friend. In my second trimester my boobs always leaked and that never stopped.

I want an all natural birth, no epidural or pain meds. So because of that i decided to take the class. It has helped me to relax a lot easier than if I wasn't taking the class. Looks like I am going to have a c-section so I won't get to put it to use but I'm glad I went anyways.

Omg my class was awesome!!! I truely did learn a lot , was skeptical about bringing my bf with me bc I was like its gonna b all females but nope EVERY mother had their spouses.

I'm definitely planning on attending a birthing class, but I can't decide which one I wanna try! I did the basic hospital class last time, but I'm planning to deliver at a birthing center this time so I don't need to know about epidurals and hospital policy! To any mamas who've already given birth/taken a birthing class, what was it, how did you like it, and did it help?

Spent 7 hours in a childbirth class...information overload! Another 5 hours tomorrow. Im exhauated mentally!

Hi I have Psoratric A, Rhu a & Fiber myalgia- diagnosed 2011 Have constantly taken Panodol Osteo up to 6 a day, Methotrexate 2 once a week & Cymbalta in morning but Still had pain so Rhu upped to also include Leflunomide 1 in morning & night last 4 mths also Endep 10mg 2 before bed to help restlessness ....still in pain ....so now about to start Humira but I cannot afford to gain weight,, and the forum makes me afraid to take.......as met have a few years ago ...

But I must say this, I took a Human Sexuality class last semester, and everything in the class today I already learned in that class. It was a waste of money.
