i take the leflunomide (arava) but also take pills for the reflux, which does help. I take renitidine i believe it is called. I found it worked pretty good for the swelling myself. I am also on the Embrel, but still do not have R.A under control. I just wanted to say that the arava was the best drug i have taken up until i was put on the embrel. I live in B.
He has been on a combination of Arava 20 mg ( Hydroxychloroquine) and Plaquenil (Leflunomide) . He has been going severly downhill since January and has lost 40 pounds, has constant mucous drainage that he chokes on especially after meals, and has severe shortness of breath. Can these symptoms be a result of the medications he is taking? Is it safe for him to take two synthetic DMARDS at the same time?
Yet, even though failed the cold turkey method, took the meds becuz i could not tolerate the debilitating, excruciating low bk pain. Bk pain is due to a low bk injury in the gym bk in 83. Tried everyhing recommended by the medical professional but to no avail, no pain relief! Have had 3 bk surgeries and still suffer with the low bk pain 24/7, most an 8-9. When i do anything which aggravates it, it zooms past 10 to a 20 or so. Can't function. 1st surgery in 04.
hi I went to put dinner on earlier and when I walked bk into the living room my 2yr old was sat on our 5mnt old kitten, I ran an grabed her off the kitten but damage was already done.
so i went ome in distraught it was my first two days later i lost sum tissue so i foned the doctors they said if i do another in another week n its still positive 2 go bk its been 2wk 2days and the test still cuming bk positive.my heads all over the place and no 1 is giving me any information.me n my partner still hav unpretected sex but doctor said that wouldnt intervean anybody got any information please please get bk 2 me many thanks .....
but i got the implant in my arm and so the doctor done a water infection test and that came bk normal so i went bk to the doctors and they done a wee test and that came bk negative. but at night i can not get comfortable cosit feels like somthink moving in my lower part of my stomach and i carnt lie on my bk or front cos its uncomfortable. and now a have a few spots around my nipples and my stomach feels hard at nite but not in the day..... plz can any 1 help me!!!!
When I told my doctor this he laughed. I asked him isnt too hard to believe that a new virus can develop. ISNT HIV A NEW VIRUS discovered in the early 1980s..He said that it would of been identifed by now and that it was all HIV phobia..I have also been tested for TB etc and had all my vacinations before I left...Please is there anyone out there that can pinpoint this virus..My health and my families have been devasted by this...

i cant take no more headache feeling sick early hrs waking been bk to doc not intrested in my headaches had this for a few wks gettin worse/i suffered with anxiety related headaches couple yrs bk and i think thats why doc wonrt listen im not under any form of anxiety now i just cant take much more of the pain anyone help
He went to nephrologist a month ago and his creatinine was 1.7. He told him to watch his diet and come BK in 2 months and recheck. He just went to Dr. The other day for lower right side BK pain and his creatinine has now rose to 2.2, they called him next day to recheck and it was 2.5. They told him to drink fluids to rule out dehydration which was rediculous. He did and came BK 2 days later and now its 2.6. It confusing BC CT scan and ultra sound showed nothing. His BUN is 7.
m currently only able to eat toast crackers and bananas without severe diarrhea and bad gas pains ,Stool sample negative for any bacteria ,virus or parasite Awaiting Blood test results testing for ulcerative colitus Crohns And celiac disease ,Will this blood test be enough to exclude these if they come bk Negative Doctor suspects IBS.

t decrease and swelling of sperm tube stayed the same I then give 500 mg oraly day and night for 1 more week and tested for gonherea and chlaymida waited 5 days test came bk negative during the period of waiting I had discharged shooting out of my penis frequently and was worried and 100% I had chlaymida the discharge was clear but then I realised that results were negative and after 2 days every was bk to normal then I carried on with my life 2 weeks later I tested negative for HIV 4 weeks post
Went in next day for ultrasound because my blood test cAme bk showing my levels were high enough for one. I was measured at 5 weeks 5 days only saw sac an a extremely small dot. Got call bk following day doc states they didn't see anything an to come bk following week for a follow up ultrasound. I'm really scared with the continuous spotting and knowing thAt I just recently gotten over a MC 2 months ago. I'm hoping for best but at same time psyching myself up for worse.
