hi everyone, i was just given a rx for this drug listed above for supposingly my borderline personality disorder but as i am researching it says its for bi polar disorder or seizures etc.. can someone who is licensed or qualified tell me what this drug is and what it helps for. Yes you have bipolar disorder. See a psychiatrist and get meds. Lamictal, Lithium, and Abilify are good for starters. They're the most common, safer meds. When you tell your mom that you want to get checked out I would recommend not mentioning the bipolar thing. A lot of parents don't believe that their children have such a disorder. Just tell her that you're sad and want someone to talk to that has an unbiased opinion.

I have been diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder. Well, one doctor says Borderline, another will say Bipolar, they dont know I guess. I just know that nobody will accept me as their patient. I have cutting issues & suicidal thoughts that are strong.
