Calling it an amino acid powder or a cheap protein precursor(there really is no such thing as a protine precursor) would be like calling a car 4 wheels and some metal. Not extremely accurate. It is designed to provide energy(caffeine) as well as some other herbal ingredients that help with energy and mental focus. It also has argnine which will help increase blood flow and oxygen to the muscles. It also contains a form of creatine as well.

I didn't feel any side effects but I was wondering why I shouldn't be drinking it. I have very mild hypothyroidism. Avatar n tn and adhere to the ICA diet that eliminated caffeine, acidic foods, spicy foods, tomatoes etc. L-Arginine was proven ineffective in IC but some people feel it works. In tems of preseciption agents, I usually start everyone out on a low dose of Elavil 10mg then increase slowly to 25-75mg as tolerated. Some patients respond to Atarax and others to Elmiron. You should find all there meds on the website.

I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !

I can't say that I know anything about the brand you are using but I will share my experience. I also use whey protein, the exact type is the GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60. It has worked really well since I don't get to eat as properly as I should with work and school. I stack that with GNC's Amplified Creatine and Glutamine powder.
