The treatments (Humira, Methotrexate, ect) are the same for RA and PsA so Im thinking dietary treatment may be similar. In terms of supplements, I do the high doses of Tumeric and Krill oil.
Avatar n tn Given your current situation and your extremely high blood sugars, if you want to reduce then using diet, then a very low carb diet / ketogenic diet would be the way to go. This diet however, may still not be enough to get your sugars down and you may still need insulin / other meds. Please know that if you eat a ketogenic diet you need to follow it strictly.

This diet is also called the LCHF (low carb high fat) diet (see the blog Diet Doctor for more info). Avatar n tn Hi, low carb / ketogenic diet. I don't eat any grains, fruit, starchy vegetables, or anything with added sugars. I eat salad and green vetables, nuts (in moderation), meats, eggs, cheese, butter, cream. Look up Bernstein diabetes university on utube. lots of great information.
