I have called her pediatrician and scheduled an appointment to evaluate her, but thought I would ask here as well, because it'll be two weeks before they can see her. Thoughts, insights? Anything specific ringing a belly that I should look deeper into? Is there a connection to children's emotions and lyme, or is this two separate issues?

Avatar n tn May I suggest you do some research on the Ketogenic Diet. It is a huge lifestyle change, but is totally worth it. Ketogenic lifestyle requires that you cut out almost all carbs. You eat less than 20g of carbs a day, moderate amount of protein 50-100g/day (60-75 is ideal for most people), and 100-150g fat/day. It is a high fat diet that switches your body from using carbs for energy to using fat for energy.

Avatar m tn ) Experts agree we meet most of our water needs from a healthy diet with lots of vegetables and some fruit. That describes my diet. At points in my life, I've tried to make an effort to drink more water, and all it did was cause me to feel ill all the time, and urinate a lot. As I said, I don't drink much water (or liquids in general, for that matter) but eat a lot of greens, vegetables, berries, and some fruit. I rarely experience "thirst"...
Avatar f tn I know when I first started to limit and stop drinking soda and caffeine drinks and was drinking only water it felt worse than drinking the sodas. 4896357 tn?1360670904 Please bear with me as this is an important question for me. I am on week 20 of triple w/Victrelis. Type 1a. I cannot drink as much water as I've been told I should, especially when working and it's hard for me to get away to a restroom. What is the purpose of the extra water intake and what are the ramifications if I don't drink enough. Will it compromise my chance of SVR? Does the water flush out toxins and ease side effects? TIA.
Avatar f tn Ladies, I feel guilty because I know I'm suppose to be drinking plenty of water, but I just can't seem to.. Water makes me sick. Is anybody having the same problem and if so what have been your alternatives?

I tried to drink some milk at some point of the day and I did not count that . I kept green tea with Lemon made and some times I had a 16 OZ glass of that when I ate.
