Avatar n tn Broad spectrum antibiotics (3 months; folliculitis suspected, later ruled out), nizoral pills (3 weeks), fluconazole (50mg/day for 5 weeks), itraconazole (200mg/day for 9 weeks) -probably forgot something... 6) Outcome of treatment: Very characteristically (and contrary to the promises) my SD is not controllable at all (not even by adrenal cortical hormones), and I can find no correlation between medication (of any kind) and my symptoms. They are consistent and annoying!
Avatar f tn I'm in two minds now as to whether to try Lamisil or the Itraconazole, as for a reaction I'm unsure, it may have been irritation or a small side effect. Avatar m tn I used most of the antifungal creams that the doctor had been prescribing me, but nothing helped. She also prescribed me itraconazole tablets at the end, but to use only for a week. During the therapy, it started being a bit better, but after 7 days it started itching and turned back as before. I also used terbinafine cream at the same time, (for 3red time). I also used ketoconazole shampoo several times. Please if someone have advice what to do bcs my doctor don't know what do do as well.

Avatar f tn The mucus in the morning has diminished quite a bit with Terbinafine. I also get this nodule or mucus plug(containing blood), that comes from my nasal passage into the throat. It used to appear every couple of weeks, since taking Terbinafine it shows up every couple of days. The Asthma like feeling was more of gasping for breath along with the sinus congestion. It was happening with the low blood pressure.
