What is the connection between itraconazole and hemmorhagic stroke in an otherwise healthy male with no pre-existing conditions to cause a stroke?
When my thighs rub together it irritates the area, especially if the area is moist from sweating. I also have a burning pain in the anus and it can feel dry in there, sometimes bowel movements can hurt. The edges of the scrotum are also painful, the scrotum in general looks more wrinkled than I can remember.
Sitting for long periods of time is painful. The anus can also get sore from walking due to chafing. I am a slim man.

What you have read is correct.
But the itch has spread on both sides of groin and butts. Round shaped with elivated edges and red in color. I started taking itraconazole again from today(almost fourth time). Please suggest something.

t improve noticeably, in fact I got irritation on the foreskin in the form of small abrasions that are sensitive to touch so Dr recommended to apply something bland like Aquaphor. If it didn't help then it's not balanitis??What do you think?

Well, a lot of yeast are resistant to antibiotics that end in azole, like fluconazole . But Itraconazole is a stronger anti-fungal. Usually, if you take it for 3 weeks it clear it up in 60% of people. What country do you live in? In the UK they have lozenges of Amphoteracin B that usually works on the resistant strains. But it is only given by IV in the U.S. How long has it been since you have been taking the Itraconazole? You have to finish the course and see if it clears up.
The effect had begun at day 13-14 and until 6 weeks after the end of the treatement. After, they gave me itraconazole 200 (Sporanox) during 1 week and it worked very well. I have candida in the mouth and the groin that has been comfirmed. I have a irritated penis head thsg they say looks normal but it has also a burning sensation. About 6 months ago I noticed that 1 of my fingernails started to yellow in the corners at the distal part of my nail, at the site of yellowing the nail also got hardened. With time, the same happened in some of my other fingernails ( but stayed well demarcated at the corners. I followed that, the blisters have gone now, but I have red rashes (not wrinkles but lines and dotes) on the head of the penis. They seem to be more visible when the penis is erect. Also, if I apply betadine for 2-3 days, skin of the head becomes dry and gets wrinkles.

hello, I've taken the itraconazole pill and candid-v3(a vaginal insert) for 3 days as prescribed by my doctor and i finished my treatment yesterday. but it still seems that i have some white watery discharge today, i have no itchiness nor whatsoever. does this mean that the pill is still taking some time to fully cure me or did it not work completely? or could the discharge be from the candid-v3 pill from yesterday?
Hi, I had fungal Infection in last year October. Then I went for a check up and the doctor prescribed me itraconazole 100 mg and terbinafine 250 mg oral solution and Luliconazole cream. Infection was cured completely. But now again it has appeared on my body. Specifically on my neck. I am having the same oral solution and using Clotrimazole topical cream. But it's not effective like before. Instead of being cured it's spreading. I am also using ketoconazole soap for bathing.
I am currently being treated by an infectious disease doctor, and he has me taking 100mg of Itraconazole per day. The name brand for Itraconazole is Sporanox. I still have this yeast infection! The medicine has not helped me yet. Why is this happening? I don't understand why merely taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection caused me to get a yeast infection that I just cannot get rid of? If there are other people that are in the same situation, please respond to my post.
I went to the doctor and did a lab exam so thats how i found out.. I was given itraconazole and clotrimazole, during the treatment everything was ok but five days after treatment stopped it came back.. The skin around my lips got itchy and sensitive and i noticed very small blisters that are transparent in color appear on the border of my lips and a few in my actual lip area... I am very worried why it is coming back despite the treatment... Has anyone experienced thos before?
Have you seen a doctor about this? You're treating it as if it's a fungal infection, but you may have eczema, just really dry skin, an allergic reaction, or something else.
After 7 years, it's time to see a doctor and get this properly treated. If you've been seeing a doctor who has been treating you like this for 7 years, find a new doctor.
