should I take Isentress again at 7;30 am so that I maintain the 7:30am/7:30pm timeline for Isentress? The pharmacist and lots of online resources stressed the importance of taking the pills on time each time.
I had a risk exposure and had a base hiv test 4th gen ab/ag 25 hours after pep or after 2 truvadas and 3 isentress. Could this affect the negative result of the base test? Is the base test considered conclusive? The only risk exposure is no longer since the other party hiv test was negative and the exposure was low risk.

Hi, after being exposed to HIV 15 days ago, I'm on day 14 of PEP (Truvada & Isentress). I wonder if facial lipoatrophy (sunken cheeks, temples, eyes, etc) can develop as early as two weeks of being taking these meds. I'm a male model and I make a living of my face. Last week I was fired from 3 photo-shoots in a row. I don't know if I'm really experiencing facial fat waste, or if my face just reflects all the emotional distress I've been through for the past 2 weeks.
I had a sexual encounter and they have put me on truvada and isentress for 4 weeks. It is one week over but I have very bad stomach. I usually have a chronic gastritis due to helyco bacter that I have not managed so far to get rid of.
My doctor said I could take Nexium 20 which is my usual medication for this matter but to try no to take it everyday beacaus of interaction with isentress but he is gone on vacation now and I have a really upset stomach and I dont know what to do.
That was 300 wed, fri I was off decided to go to the local hiv clinic and tell them what happen, they did a rapid test for hiv and a duo test for hiv and std test and hep c, all neg but they put me on isentress and truvada for 30 days, went back 5 days after finishing they did another rapid test and a duo test for hiv and a test for hep c. All came back neg told me I dodged a bullet.
I was given pep for 28 days isentress and truvada side effects were pin sensations all over my body and the muscles in my legs dissolved. almost a year later I have hypersensitive feet pins and needle feeling in my feet and lower legs and pain in my toes as well pain in my legs. I thought when you stop this medication these symptoms go away how long can they stay because I feel like they are getting worse and not better.
PEP is very effective - it should be three drugs -- typically two medications Truvada + Isentress. Mass had a 2 year study where no one on PEP got infected.
I searched couple of papers and i concluded not to double the dose in the case of i used that pill. But i continued my next dose as planned by taking truvada and isentress at the same time.
Although not sure, my question is missing only one dose raltegravir at day 22 could have impact on the efficacy of hiv Pep?
48 days before, I had a risk of broken condom with CSW (unknown HIV Status) and started PEP (Tavin-EM and Isentress) at 59th hour. My baseline antibody test and PCR DNA at 60th hour of exposure (after half an hour of first dose of PEP) are negative. I completed PEP for 30 days as my doctor advised.

1). burning eyes - no reddish,

Hello - I understand that oral with a person who is HIV+ is low risk, but would it be a good idea to take PEP anyway? My concern is the side effects of the Isentress and Truvada combination. I have the medication, but if infection is very highly unlikely, I think I shouldn't. Friends are telling me not to worry and doctor says it is up to me (which I know). Opinions?
m taking Truvada and Isentress for the last 17 days and today I got another possible exposure in the form of a needle stick injury, ive been so stressed I have not be able to work correctly and now have a panicing fear of hiv thinking I will step on needles or be stuck by some crazy person walking in the street.
hi. before putting on a condom, i had a brief receptive anal experience (3-4 pokes, 10 seconds max). he said he was negative. i didnt care - condom on. but again, not before a little few pokes before. not good. i went on pep in <50 hours. truvada and isentress. my baseline was negative. week 2-3 while not sick, was very sluggish and tired. but no "ARS" symptoms yet.
he told me today he tested positive. no idea how new, but clearly not on medication.

27 day ago i had a condom broke in a glory hole in an anal encounter being i the receptive (pasive, bottom???) and the other man finish (cum???) inside me..... In 4 hour i start PEP with Truvada + Isentress. I dont know the other man vih status. Today 27 days later i've do a DUO TEST (combo) with antigen p24 + vih +vih2. Results are NEGATIVE, but, is this results decisives?????
ll be the instance of acquiring HIV with such superficial and brief possible penetration. I began PEP treatment (Truvada and Isentress) within 48 hours. He never ejaculated throughout the night and I didn't feel pre cum at any time but I know that doesn't mean pre cum wasn't there.
Am I at potential risk for HIV transmission given he fingered me and may have caused potential tiny cuts combined with the brief/minimal possibility of penetration?
Employee Health told me the patient is HIV+ and I was put on Truvada, and Isentress for PEP. I took the medicines after around 2 hours of the incident at the employee Health clinic. My questions are:
1)How high were my risks?

I panicked and 13 hours later I was at a clinic where I received PEP (Tenvir which is the same as Truvada and Isentress). The doctor told me to take Tenvir once a day for 30 days and Isentress twice a day for 30 days, I want to know what is my risk of exposure to HIV, and did my risk require PEP? Does PEP lower my risk to 0? Do I need to finish my PEP treatment?

Guys - the rash on my groin (which came on 2 weeks after exposure) is now about 2 weeks old. It has faded a bit, but is still there.
Do ARS rashes last 2+ weeks????
