hi there, i just had a miscarriage in august 2007. i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
I did depo for almost 4 years and it was horrible!
I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
The theory behind birth control, is that it stops the ovaries from producing cysts. I think it is a good idea to get checked by your own doc when you go home for Thanksgiving break. Im sure that will make you feel better. I had a similar experience as you and was found to have severe endometriosis along with everything else. I hope you feel better and keep us posted.
I am currently on trinessa and have been for a couple of years. A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.

Hello, I would very much like to know if doing Bikram Yoga is good or bad for your skin. Basically, it is quite strenuous yoga done for 1 and a half hours, in a room that is generally 40 degrees or 104 celsius. The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin.
If so, you could check in with the doctor, or a pharmacist, or just the FAQs questions for Trinessa. If they really are just placebos or vitamins [in some bcps, the five "break" pills are just iron tablets] and not progesterone, they shouldn't affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills.
I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?

Could be Urticaria, put it into your search engine there are pictures,sounds like its something you are allergic to,think back to anything unusual you used on your skin or ate any shower gel and skin cream differant that your usual ,Alco hol has been known to cause Hives but so are a ton of other things including Penicillin and Pain Killers, certain foods and sweetners in sodas and coffee .Hives do come up as large wheals' and they can come up in the same place .
