i was on invega for 3 years at 8 mg a day and i was wondering if invega can cause you to gain weight and have blood clots in your legs

she really changed after a week or so for the better...and she doesnt have dreams like yours ...i am very grateful for the invega because it helped her a lot ....tak care ...

How does one switch from Risperdal Consta (50mg Q2wks) to Invega Sustenna??

I have been taking invega sustenna (antipsychotic) injection every month for over a year now and since then have no semen coming out when I ejaculate and have no pleasure from the orgasm at all... could this be permanent?

I am 50 years old male and have tics for the past 7 years. My neurologist runs an EMG, but it proved that my muscles are strong and there is no observation of any muscle disorder.He didn't impress upon me that what is the cause of my tics, execpt that he diagnosed that it is mainly due to stress. I still have the tics occassionally, althought it disappeared temporarily when I go abroad for vacation or even just attending business fair. Is my tics considered a tourette syndrome?

is anyone out there to help me deal with withdrawals from invega 3mg...put on as a trial basis, now can't afford the medicine.. and my xanax was stolen last week.... i have none.. i don't abuse my meds.. never had this problem before.. in a bad state now for several days that keeps getting worse by the day...don't wanna look bad to my dr.. he has helped me with my ptsd...so hurt and don't understand what my head is doing.. the medicine was working.

My doctor is weaning me off invega. He has me on a lower dose 3 mg for a week. Then I discontinue it. He is hoping my other antipsychotic, seroquel xr will be enough. He raised that from 150 to 200 Mgs. Anyone have experience coming off antipsychotics?

invega is an antipsychotic for schizophrenia. Do you have that? And you really can't just up and quit these meds, especially Xanax -- they can have a wallop of a withdrawal. You have to stop them slowly. You say you have PTSD -- were you in the military? I ask because most drug companies have programs to help people who can't afford medication, and veterans are better treated than others in this regard.

Hi 7 months ago i was given a drug called invega that is time released and i was instructed to cut it n half and take it wich almost killed me. This drug is known for causing arythmias by prolongation of the QT interval. I have since stoped taking the invega. I dont take any drug, not even asprin.

Please give me some advice about these 2 treatments for Tourettes. My 12 yr old son has Tourette's, was diagnosed when he was 5. At that time, he was having lots of verbal tics, strange behavior, slow language development, and obsessive scribbling on paper then waddling it up and throwing on floor (he started kindergarten, and I got impression he was stressed about learning to write), he did this for hours at a time!

Get treatment and ask for new medication. Abilify worked well for me. Good luck!!

I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.

and i would highly recommend you consider the potential of your tics being mistaken for Tourettes and the potential of these tics being in someway related to your complex preexisting medical conditions and or medications, and it might be in your best interest to see a Tourettes specialist and be officially diagnosed, which will likely include re evaluation of your medical diagnostic history too. I want to make these tests again, but because of my diagnosis of schizophrenia, they usually attribute my dizziness to anxiety or side effects. Its been on going for 3 months, but recently got better as I took less Invega. Then it got a little worse again, and I cant say if my sleeping problems is the cause.

Hello I am a 21 year old male I have been taking medicine since about 17 or 18 and been diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 19 I have been taking invega sustenna since august 2020. I stopped for a month or two then resumed up until now. I took the 156 mg most of the time then the 234 for a few months back to 156 down to 117 mg.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

It looks like the Risperdal could be the reason for the motor tics. Which would make more sense then the Concerta being the problem. And Risperdal could be the reason for the weight gain too. The question of whether or not Concerta and other ADHD medications causes tics is a complex one.
