I was on Lithium for almost 2 yrs and I can tell you it can certainly screwup your sex drive. I went from 20-30 minutes of bliss to 10 minutes of strain too. The longer you take it the less you will care if you ever have sex again. I am obsessive about sex and my dr had to take me off of it so I went to Risperdal. It was a nice alternative after the transfer period. It kept the voices from getting me nuts.

Well,I'm not on the Invega anymore.Seemed too strong for me.Now I'm on Lamictal,Seroquel,Xanax,and Propranolol.I just had my thyroid tested and I'm borderline Hyperthyroid.I have read that either Bipolar can cause Hyperthyroid,Hyperthyroid can cause Bipolar,or it just plain mimics Bipolar disorder.Now I have to make an appt with an endocrinologist to see what to do about this.Has anyone else heard of this before?

----I stabilized completely last summer and I was on the brand name version of the medication. When I switched over to the generic, I started having problems and had to increased the dose from 900mgs to 1600mgs over the space of a few months. Any changes in the dosages over this time dropped me into a deep depression and I HAD to drop the dosage many times because it was agitating me. I just assumed it was because I was adjusting to the medication.

How does one switch from Risperdal Consta (50mg Q2wks) to Invega Sustenna??

I will turn 24 on july30, I am 6'1'' 285lbs and i smoked a pack a day till just recently. 5 mos. ago i took a drug named Invega wich is an antipsycotic but was given to me for bipolar disorder. This drug is a revoloutionary drug in that field in that it is a time released capsule of palpharidone wich should never be crushed, chewed, or cut before taking. Unfortunately I didnt know this at the time.

As you will know Seroquel is a very calming anti psychotic, whereas Invega is quite agitating, I think by dropping the Invega you will have a lot less side effects ( fingers crossed ) You might feel quite drowsy for a few weeks because of the Seroquel but the extra 50mg he has given you isn't going to be too harsh, my doc usually increases my Seroquel by 100mg. With it being the XR version as well, you will have less drowsiness.

Hi 7 months ago i was given a drug called invega that is time released and i was instructed to cut it n half and take it wich almost killed me. This drug is known for causing arythmias by prolongation of the QT interval. I have since stoped taking the invega. I dont take any drug, not even asprin.

Ive been taken the generic(clomiphene citrate) for the past two cycles with no luck.. Dr said he would rather me be on the brand name. It is more expensive. I don't know what to do.

I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. ve taken, both, generic levothyroxine (T4) and liothyronine (T3), as well, as brand name Synthroid and Cytomel. I did better on on generic levo than I did on Synthyroid... I've been taking generic liothyronine for over 5 yrs and have done just as well as I did on Cytomel. I don't think you'll have any difficulty, with generic T3, but if you do, you can always go back to Cytomel.

Hello I am a 21 year old male I have been taking medicine since about 17 or 18 and been diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 19 I have been taking invega sustenna since august 2020. I stopped for a month or two then resumed up until now. I took the 156 mg most of the time then the 234 for a few months back to 156 down to 117 mg.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?
