Does anybody have the package insert that comes with HARVONI- section 8.7 -says not proven to help cirrhosis. That is one of my denial reasons--I don't know if it says that. Trying to find out.

On January 18, 2011, my doctor put me on Inderal LA 60 mg because a stupid doctor upped my thyroid medicine too much and my heart rate and BP went off the chart. I have not taken any thyroid hormone since January 18th. While the Inderal has helped lower the BP and heart rate, I am having significant side effects from it and just wondered if others had experienced the same thing. I am quite fatigued but the most disturbing thing is I'm having very vivid and scary dreams.

i have been taking these capsules called inderal la for my depression and anxiety and they are not helping at all with my condition and i wanted to know if anybody else was taking the same medication and if it has helped them.

Results vary among people, but, for migraines, I was taking 240 mg Inderal LA (Propranolol slow release) every day, in divided doses, I was fine. One site I just viewed suggested dosing as 40mg twice a day of Standard Propranolol or 80 mg Slow Release once a day. For the Standard Propranolol, they listed 640 mg as the maximum per day, in divided doses, so you're clearing that by a wide margin.

Hi I have many different heart arrhythmias and I take Inderal la 60 , my heart rate is most of the time in the 50's I am having a Colonoscopy and my Dr. wants me to do Magnesium-Dulcolax prep . I feel that it would be dangerous to take it since that would probably increase my slow heart rate. What is a safe prep for people with heart condition like that?

Thanks for the reply.....I agree the hardest part is taking propafenone 3x's aday. Dr.had me stop the Propafenone( I don't really know why) and go on 80 mg.of Inderal LA....wow....I went to pieces as far as my AF....stayed on the propafenone for 7 days....got worse everyday. With Drs' ok I went back to propafenone 325 x 3 and Inderal 10mg x 2 aday...maybe they will formulate a LA form of propafenone soon.

Ok so I got these Prometrium capsules and it states on the package insert that these capsules are oral capsule. My OB's direction is to insert it vaginally as a suppository. Im concerned because the capsules outside gel is pretty thick. I just dont want to keep shoving these things in me and it not dissolve. Has anyone used oral capsules as suppository?

All medications come with something called a 'package insert' which has labeling that includes any risks. Did you tell your doctor that you are expecting? I would just call the office to be safe and tell them you are pregnant and want to know if the antibiotic prescribed for you is safe during pregnancy.

I do have the insert at home. It said if there were NO lines it was inconclusive, but nothing about a line in the circle and nothing in the oval. The way it reads, for it to be positive, there should be a line in each opening. I will be taking another one tonight, hoping it is more conclusive. thanx!

I take Inderal LA 120mg 1x a day and I also take bcp (Yasmin) and Metformin 500mg 2x for weight loss. My doctor knew I was on Inderal LA and said it was fine. Talk to your doctor about getting on Metformin. It works great and with that I've lost 60 + lbs with it. I have all the symptoms that you have too, except I don't have high blood pressure. I wouldn't consider the lap band surgery (only as a last resort).

They have been using different meds to try to help with the headaches and now she is on Inderal LA 80 once a day. It helps some but what do we need to do? Do we need to go through with the TEE or what?

They all come with a patient package insert that explains it. If your pack no longer has that insert, you can ask your pharmacist. Most require you to use them for 7 days before considering yourself safely protected.

I also suffer from migraines (not period related) but you may need something along the line of Imitrex to ease the pain away and something like Inderal LA to control how many migraines you get. I've been on Inderal LA for over 5 years now and been a suffer since I was 15. As far as your gyn issues, you need a doctor. They need to run tests on you to confirm what you are dealing with. I know how you feel on finding a doctor, I had allot of issues with finding the right doctor.

These are not listed on the package insert, but I note from Dailymed.com Viread did cause fever in clinical trials (i.e., Truvada is a combo of Viread and Emtriva).

I would look up the package insert online because they are all available online. That's what any doctor or pharmacist would be looking at if you asked them.

Your chances are slim to none of being pregnant. Taking plan will cause disruptions in your cycle, it says skin the package insert. Taking it on top of all the other meds you're taking will surely disrupt your cycle even more. I wouldn't think twice about it. I'd be more concerned that the plan B messed with your thyroid levels or caused some issue with the effectiveness of your PCOS meds because that is much more likely.

I too suffer from them for the past 8 years and currently take Inderal LA 120mg once a day. It prevents the migraines, although sometimes my sinus headaches can trigger a migraine but its a rare thing. I know for me, stress triggers most of my migraines. Talk to your doctor. Im only being treated by my GP.

As far as the package insert, there is no indication that this would be in any way harmful to a fetus. I would not be concerned.

Told by primary that I will have to go on ACE inhibitor because this means my heart is not slowing between beats. By the way, I have been on 120 mgs a day of Inderal LA for severe migraines, throwing PVC and palpitaitions for 18 years -- fabulous medication. Question: Since my BP - diastolic is never (except one recent time after bites) above 80 and usually 60 to 74, this could be a false reading if the bites were in fact Lymes disease or not relationship?

I haven't used detartrine myself but according to the package insert, the 150 RDA does not erode enamel and there is no contraindication for use in sensitivity patients. The only contraindication is allergy to the material. Try using some sensitivity toothpaste to see if it helps.

My understanding is that betapace or sotalol cannot be substituted for the AF version but the AF versioin can be subbed for the non AF version because the package insert does have everything that the AF package insert has plus the A-fib information

I am afraid that they forget to change the needle after they injected the one before me , because when I got injected , I saw the nurse pick up the needle not from the package , the needle is put on the desk without package ,i am not sure if it is a new one .

Hi there. When you say you have read this, do you mean on the package insert? That's a good source of information (the material that came with your packs of pills). The main issue is protection from pregnancy. So, I'd use back up protection such as condoms for the next few weeks if sexually active if you don't follow the package instructions.
