I remember in our birth class the instructor was saying she things by the research doctors will soon be comparing the importance of DHA to that of folic acid. I certainly don't think it would hurt anything. Good luck!

I have been taking fish oil for about 5 years now and take approximately 2 grams with an Omega-3 total breakdown of 600 EHA and 400 DHA per day. I know I know, talk to your doctor bla bla bla (and I will to be sure) In the meantime should I trash the pills?

Okay so my current prenatal vitamin does not have Dha in it...is it possible for me to take a Dha vitamin in conjunction with my prenatal vitamin?...if so what is a good brand to take?

I don't eat McDonalds at all..I hate fast food..I eat very healthy...& I'm not making her feel bad for not taking them..but I was stating the importance of them in general..I take them when I'm not pregnant..that's a personal choice to make & each to there own..its her pregnancy her baby..my doctor just like any doctor will tell you the importance of them..

infants cannot receive the flu vaccine until 6 months old. Those in close contact with infants should receive both the swine flu vaccine AND the regular flu vaccine. And honestly, the latest recommendation is that all in close contact with the baby also receive a whooping couch booster (a part of the DTaP). Since we spend a lot of time with my mom and teenaged sister, they all got the flu shot when my little one was born. I will ask that they do it again.
