Avatar f tn Yea I know right. He just doesn't think my memory can be effected bc I've always been forgetful. Really I was just lazy cause I did think of my responsibilities just didn't act on doing them. These past times not a single reminder thought or thought period about doing such things.

Avatar f tn Hello, I am wondering if anybody has a suggestion of medications or anything that works to help with memory problems associated with SCT that will not cause more memory problems or possible brain damage with long term use?
Avatar n tn I think over the past several months I have noticed some short term memory issues, but not many. She will tell me something she recently told me. Perhaps not exactly the same or with the same details, but I have noticed this a few times in the past serveral months. I have actually tested her in my own way a few times. I will tell her something, and see if the following week she would remember it or I mention some event which should trigger her to bring up what I told her.
Avatar f tn So i visited a friend today and she looked at my prenatal vitamins that i had with me and was surprised they didn't have dha in them. She gave me some dha vitamins and recommended that i take them and continue to do so. My dr didn't mention dha. Am i alone in this?
Avatar f tn The FDA says that it is safer to have DHA from a non fish source. I say the DHA is straight from the fish and not good to take! I would not take it or stop. I take the one Enfimil makes and it is I think $11 a month from Walmart and it is from a none fish source. I would tell your ob you wnat another one if you don't want that one!
Avatar f tn So I Bought prenatal pills and they don't have dha. So when I had my 1st Dr appt at 5 weeks he said buy dha prenatal so I have been taking them. I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and a few days ago I ran out so I been taking the prenatal pills without dha until I get paid. Avatar f tn Do you have any other issues besides the memory? Does the memory issue involve any other aspects? Like do you have problems NOW remembering present day things? Are you on any other medications now? Have you discussed this with your doc, if so, what did he/she say? Paxil is definitely one of the medications that are problematic for people in different ways, usually the biggest complaint is the severe symptoms related to trying to come off the med.
Avatar f tn DHA is a kind of Omega 3 fatty acid (which is usually DHA+EPA) Omega 3 s are considered really beneficial for our brain and general health..and considered really good for fertility.. they're found in fatty fish or you can take them as supplements..
Avatar f tn One of my prenatal vitamins have DHA but no iron, and the other has iron but no DHA...The one with iron has a little higher percentage of vitamin C as well...which one should I take? If I take the one with no DHA is it ok to takr Advocare Omega Plex supplement on the side? Or should I take the vitamin with DHA and take iron on the side? These have me confused!
Avatar m tn no it is not harmful it is a must, but the quality and concentration of epa and dha must be very high at 2-3g daily (fish oil quantity is not useful check epa/dha), most products are scam with very low dha/epa so useless.
Avatar m tn I started to take Seroxat (an SSRI) due to anxiety and insomnia about 3.5 years ago , and later get cognitive problems such as memory loss, poor concentration, blunted in responsiveness , impediment in speech and so on .I'm quite certain that these problems are caused by Seroxat (surely not depression or neurasthenia), so I have been off ALL ADs since 1.5 years ago. However my cognitive functions hasn't seemed to recover over the past 1.5 years.
Avatar m tn I am with baby _ nature made + dha. Never made me sick either.
Avatar f tn I'm taking DHA per my Dr bc he asked me was I going to breastfeed and I told him yes!
1969424 tn?1353020641 im using nature made (i have used without dha ) now using with dha. still ttc for a year a few months now .. i was also using fertility blend for women, with lots of hope, sadly it made my stomach sick, so i had to stop that.
1225070 tn?1344709174 DHA comes from a source that is known as being pretty clean and doesn't give you the anti-coagulant problems (thining of the blood) that sometimes you run into with fish oil, so I think DHA omega 3s are okay to take with a baby aspirin unlike regular fish oils. You can find is at any drug store next to the over the counter prenatal vitamins. I actually ordered mine from drugstore.com. Plus DHA is great for the baby once you are pregnant!!
