I read first trimester its a no no, and after that it should very limited. Im sure your dr wouldnt prescribe anything that would harm the baby. But i would ring your dr office and just double check.

I know you absolutely cannot have it in your third or first trimester. My dr put me on a low dose in my second trimester for my migraines. She said its only safe in your second and only with a drs. approval.

I have a infected broke off wisdom tooth during my last pregnancy my face swelled up and I was out of Tylenol so I took a 800 mg ibuprofen. Bad call for me but I was in pain and it was only once and everything turned out fine with baby so I was lucky.

No ibuprofen. It's a big no no during pregnancy. You can take Tylenol. Also, drink plenty of water. Eucalyptus oil in the shower or diffuser will help clear you up a bit.

My doctor told me I could take ibuprofen during the 2nd trimester because tylenol wasn't helping with my headaches. Call your doctor and see what they tell. In fact I was approved for all types of pain relievers. My doctor is one of the best ob's in the country and I don't think he would tell me wrong. Just call yours and see.

Yes Tylenol is the only thing really approved by doctors. Ibuprofen is not recommended at all or any other nsaids medications such as motrin or aleve and i know you are only in your first trimester but for future reference it's especially bad in the third trimester as it can lead to premature closure of a part on the baby's heart that is not supposed to close until after they are born and it automatically does so itself.

I'll be 19 in a couple months and am in my second trimester with my first. My best advice is to not worry so much, eat healthy, listen to your doctor and don't get too stressed out. during your first trimester I would NOT suggest any pain pills other than tylenol and in the first trimester IBuprofen and Asperin can cause bleeding issues and miscarriage and during your last trimester Ibuprofen can cause heart problems.
