Hypoglycemia nausea and dizziness

Common Questions and Answers about Hypoglycemia nausea and dizziness

hypoglycemia

Avatar n tn Nausea and dizziness can both be symptoms of low blood sugar, or, as the previous poster noted, high sugar levels. If your glucose levels are running too high, usually the person shows the typical symptoms of unusual thirst and fatigue. If low, dizziness, inability to concentrate, headaches, yawning for no reason, shaking hands, irritability or depression, sleepiness, or a dry mouth or eyes can be present.
Avatar m tn I am just wanting to know what can cause Dizziness and Nausea? only has happened 3 times in the last 2 or three months!
1204020 tn?1493698890 s not vertigo, my first thought would be hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) could cause dizziness and nausea, especially if you go a long period between meals or are dieting (I can get this feeling if I don't eat much all day). Stress and anxiety could cause a panic attack. I have a friend who has problems with his pituitary (low testosterone, low FSH, low LH, maybe caused by a prolactinoma).
Avatar n tn Since it is early morning dizziness, hypoglycemia, GERD, nerve compression and benign intracranial hypertension and postural hypotension should be ruled out. Hope this helps. Take care!
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing dizziness, shaking hands, and a little bit of nausea. I have been doing this for 5-6 days. When I ask people I know what they think they tell me that it MIGHT be low iron or symptoms of diabetes. What is you with me? I am a 27 year old mother of a 2 yr old.
Avatar m tn clock and not waking up until late in the afternoon. When i wake up i experience dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and real bad headaches. I do not understand these complications when i get enough sleep i am still tired, and i wine up going to bed real early that night..I also experience ringing in my right ear. and my heart beats real fast when im trying to go to sleep at night.
Avatar n tn Apart from this, check for acidity, anemia, diabetes, hypoglycemia and cervical spondylosis. Postural hypotension too should be ruled out. Please consult your PCP for primary examination and investigation for all causes of dizziness followed by proper referral. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar f tn suffering for four long years. Chronic dizziness, fatigue, lightheadeness, nausea, extreme belching(sometimes hundreds of times a day), diagnosed last year with a rare form of hypoglycemia.. Reactive Hypoglycemia. I suffer random spells of tachycardia, & chest discomfort. Ive seen 3 cardiologists & had every test minus a heart cath(I tried to get thst, but told NO). Including: 3 stress tests, 5 holters, 3 echos, 5 ekgs & blood work 3 times since 2013.
Avatar n tn All these cause dizziness when you get up from lying down position. Cervical spondylitis and ear problems also cause dizziness and nausea on changing the position of the neck. Other causes are anemia, GERD (in your son’s case this is there), hypoglycemia or low sugar and some endocrine problems. Some types of seizures too behave in this way. Your son needs a comprehensive investigation taking all these points in consideration.
Tbd type of blood treasure drop that may cause dizziness. But there are many other causes of dizziness such as vasovagal problems and heart conditions.
Avatar n tn In the past I have been told I have Reactive Hypoglycemia because I get nausea if I do not eat every 3 or 4 hours and I get headaches, sweating, dizziness, etc. that goes away if I eat. I recently moved and am having trouble finding a doctor because all of the doctors I have seen so far say it is normal for people to have nausea when they wake up. My fasting insulin results are 5 uIU/mL. My glucose numbers peak in 45 minutes at 120 mg/dL and then drop although they rarely go below 65 mg/dL.
1757391 tn?1346127363 I have had really bad headache, nausea and faintness.( dizziness). Can some tell me what to do!!!! Like fast! I need an answer now!
Avatar m tn like lightheadedness after meals, not being able to stand still, heart palpations and being heat intolerant, dizziness and chest tightness and being tired plus headaches and a lack of appetite and nausea a lot with some tunnel vision or glared vision(things seem too bright). My doctor recommend that I monitor my blood glucose whenever I experience these symptoms.
Avatar n tn Yes hello, I am currently experiencing a chronic headache, mild heart rhythms, a feeling of weakness and sometime dizziness. My Doctor informed me initially that it was stress related. I also get dizzy walking at times and feeling like my blood pressure is low(weakness). I had a heart monitor put on me and it came back clear. I have had several EKG tests as well that have come back good. Sometimes my heart races and I get like anxiety attacks.
Avatar f tn An intravenous blood sample to test your blood sugar level at the time of these signs and symptoms is the only way to know for sure that hypoglycemia is the cause. It's my guess that's what it was and after you ate the apple you felt better. Please see your doctor just to be sure!
Avatar n tn I am dizzy and nausea after eating what is it, I have had my blood sugar tested several times at the clinic and all come back normal, a few years ago a doctor had me get MRI of brain done and it was fine but still no answers.
