Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
4437866 tn?1388119624 The mother should be in a comfortable place, sitting or reclining in a way that gives access to the skin around the vagina. It can be done for up to 10 minutes a day during the last four weeks of pregnancy. Wash hands thoroughly. Ensure there are no sharp or long nails that may scratch the mother. Locate the perineum, directly below the vagina. It is the skin between the vagina and the anus. Apply some cold pressed and pure oil (such as olive oil) to this skin.

Avatar f tn CP persons have bone growth that goes faster than muscle growth thus the curved foot etc so if you strengthen muscles they grow stronger and curved foot etc will straighten out plus walking becomes easier etc many great things .
Avatar f tn This may be a crazy question, but I'm trying to figure out my summer and chemo! Is there 'wiggle' room with the chemo treatments? or do you have to go on the same day every three weeks? My six weeks is almost up and I need to get started and want to do it on Fridays so that I'll have the week-end to recover, but 4th of July falls on the Friday that I would get my second treatment and I'm assuming that they don't do chemo on that day. Thanks for any info.
1697806 tn?1339083319 ll get the best results from your workout by either training the whole body in a single workout or concentrating only on the upper body in one session and the lower body in another. There are advantages to each setup, but both are better than trying to iso- late one muscle group in a single session. Concentrate on lifts that involve lots of muscles at once, such as squats, deadlifts, presses, rows, and pullups. STRETCH EAT REGULARLY You should be wolfing down five to six small meals a day.
Avatar n tn Now she is in K and doing great. She takes Karate and has done t-ball. She is very smart and exceeds in school. She does great in karate and t ball. Enjoys everything. Has tons of friends and always smiling. She does not give us any trouble than the normal 6 yr old does. Only punishment used is time out. The thing is she has these quirks that always show up and they change from time to time. A couple of wks ago she was clearing her throat all the time.
Avatar m tn I'm a 27 year old male. I have returned to gymnastics after 3 years out and find that I get severe cramp in the arches of my feet. It seems to occur if I point my toes too hard and for long periods of time. My feet don't seem to be as flexible as they used to be as I used to have a much better toe point before. As I have to train in barefeet, I've also noticed that they can get quite cold sometimes. Can anyone help?
Avatar n tn I know how bad you want to feel your baby but you just have to let the baby do the work. I felt my baby move around 19 weeks as well I am a FTM. Good luck!
20893158 tn?1579358911 t, but if running is what you love, then do it. How far you run and how often is up to you and how much you like it. Because, again, you don't have to do it. So run as much as makes you happy. But it's wise to alternate activities at least some, and getting some resistance training in as well and flexibility training can at least potentially reduce the costs of running. Peace.

Avatar n tn Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern. I do sympathize with your vertebra injury concern.
1981227 tn?1336328438 Hi There, Sorry I have been so quiet!! Have been enjoying some relapse free days!! So from my last post, it turns out the leg spasms and weakness was likely a relapse. This was back in early March. I was working alot on our new house and I think that and the fact that I was off medication for a few months (the switch from copaxone to rebif took a few months) resulted in the attack. When I went for my Drs appointment with the neuro in April, he noted some weakness on my left leg.
574118 tn?1305135284 I just registered to this forum. My cousin has diabetes type-1. He asked me to write to you as his English is poor. He wants to know whether the pump is really practical to use. i.e. does it need hand monitoring or it is automatic, does it need regular spare parts.
Avatar m tn If I kneel on my left knee I get a sharp pain like my knee is kneeling on a pin that is digging into my knee. It is a sharp enough pain for me to get right back up off it and switch to my other knee. I work in a convenience store and have to kneel down to get into certain places so I feel this pain every time I kneel on my left knee. The pain is the bottom of my knee cap on the left side of my left knee.
Avatar f tn The root cause of developing pressure can be our inconsistent goals. Flexibility to rrim our goals or balancing our goals can be one of the ways to handle the situatuon.
Avatar f tn At your age the only thing you can do is to eat all your food made in your house..and take it with you to school or wherever you go..just don't eat packed food like chips chocolate stuff etc- it's ok to eat one now and then but try to eat mostly your mum's food and fruits and veggies, don't skip breakfast and eat all kinds of foods or at least try.. as for exercising the best for you is working outdoors with a trainer(at a stadium maybe-if you have) or even better learn swimming!
