Avatar m tn How do you guys treat your fatigue? I have extreme fatigue and one of my doctors is having me get a steroid injection, but I know that there are other ways to treat it too. I am interested in what has been tried and how well it works. Any information is greatly appreciated!
619930 tn?1260374254 9.4 is low but thank God you only have four weeks to go - then it will go back up again..... I never took Provigil and cant help give you advice with that...I've been under 9 though and I can understand how bad that feels - I'm sorry try and hang in there and be careful it sure wont' help with the low hemo but I"m not sure I'd want to feel speedy or something like that on top of the rest of it, I think you are smart to question it and take a half dose and see what happens.
149081 tn?1242397832 If the central nervous system is being sped up by provigil would the hypothalamus sense this thereby putting undue stress on my endocrine system causing my body to basically shut down? Thanks for anyone able to help with this.
Avatar f tn What I want to know is why do I have sheer exhaustion? I am so tired! How long will this last?
401095 tn?1351391770 Is anyone familiar with the drug provigil or monafinil for enery and depression...? It is a drug for narcolepsy....wakes me up but not sure about use during tapering tabs...
5509293 tn?1428531475 Thought I was ok until the amantadine worked its way out of my system and then I crashed. But new drug is giving me BP problems. Is anyone taking the drug with NO BP problems? How much can you take? I don't want to be left high and dry again with chronic fatigue and nothing to help.
397118 tn?1219762250 Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?
Avatar f tn I know it is short acting but how long does it stay in your system? Is it 4 or 6 hours? The reason I am asking is sometimes if I have an attack and it helps but by bedtime I might start feeling like I'm going to have another. So I was worndering if it was the xanax wearing off or if I was just still feeling some more anxiety. Thanxs to all.
Avatar n tn Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.
Avatar n tn Gosh i must say you are mighty helpful and i truly thank you a ton for going out of your way to help me with this issue. Thank you a million.
Avatar m tn I am not sure on that, but the best place to go for that question is your pharmacist- they are really helpful with medication questions.
Avatar f tn I'm also on Provigil. Currently my insurance company won't pay for it but I am getting enough "samples" from my doctor. My doctor tried me on Vynasse (whatever the spelling - new one that starts with a V). I had a horrible time using that. I felt like a rabbit on speed. I wanted to get up and start doing jumping-jacks but since my legs weren't working at that time that wasn't an option. It took a lot of will-power not to just get up and try and run around.
1088527 tn?1425313375 You are likely to push yourself beyond safe limits and could end up totally collapsed in a flare - and we never know how long or incomplete any given recovery from a flare will be. I have taken one or the other of these drugs since 2006. It was prescribed for sleep apnea then (three years before my official MS diagnosis) as it is now. It has never made me feel energetic. It simply keeps me from falling flat-on-my-face asleep during the day.
Avatar f tn Rondi..I am in a similar situation such as yourself. I had been on Provigil for approximately a year and it helped me tremendously. I was able to look for employment again, seek out options for going bk to school, and I had much less social anxiety with friends, family, and the public. I also went on a much needed weight loss program and had lost 17 lbs. Then my insurance denied coverage and we are working on an appeal.
