I also had shortness of breath and I was really congested and my mouth really dry. I called the doctor and she just got back to me saying that ranitidine does not cause adrenaline rushes. She can't explain my shortness of breath. Could I have an allergy?
ve never been officially diagnosed, just something my GP thought might be bothering me and prescribed me ranitidine... long story short, the ranitidine worked fine (150 mg/2x a day) and I was symptom free within 24 hours. Now i am doubtful that i am pregnant as i removed my copper T recently. I am under treatment for stomach inflammation. i am taking ranitidine 150 twice daily for the last 2 months and buscopan when i have stomach pain. i take antacid when have heartburn if i happen to eat anything which is not suitable for my present stomach condition. pls tell me, is it safe to take those medicines if i am pregnant? or do i have to abort if i am pregnant? i am very much worried....thanks in advance.
A few years ago my doctor put me on 75 mg Ranitidine to take twice a day before meals. A couple years ago he also put me on 20 mg Omeprazole to take once a day for 14 days, after which he said I could start taking the Ranitidine again if i still had the heartburn.
Hi I have had severe Hives for 2 mos. This is the worse outbreak I've ever had, and my last case of Hives was 9 yrs ago. I was in the ER 2x this past month, put on IV steroids, antihistamines & Ranitidine. I had extensive blood work done for a multitude of alleries- all negative, Lupus, Lympoma, Lymes disease, CAT scan, all negative. I've done 2 rounds of Presnisone (which helped greatly), but 2 days after the last Prednisone pill- boom the hives came back bad.

Changed my diet and included good amount of vegetables. Since 2008, I moved from Nexium to Ranitidine. Also, from 2010, I take Ranitidine as needed instead of taking them every morning an hour after my Thyroid medicine. I have been doing pretty good since then. t been on ranitidine long, i recently swapped from omeprazole which did nothing for me to ranitidine, so im still giving it some time before i rule out whether its working or not (although so far im not feeling much difference) I didn't realise that food intolerances may not come up in blood work, thanks for that information! seeing an actual gi doctor will be my next step.
They are suppose to strip my membranes how does that work? Does it hurt.
