I have nitroquik - sublingual nitroglycerin - to take if I have angina pains - this morning about 5 am I was miserable and couldn't tell if it was heart or ms symptoms and I took one. As always it stopped my discomfort, depressed my already low blood pressure and I went to sleep for about 3 hours. I've used nitroquik for the past 3 months or so and it always stops the pain and gives me relief within minutes.

What would happen if you rubbed pure nitroglycerin on your skin? I'd like to know the symptoms on and below the skin. after reading about it, I feel like I meet many of the symptoms of this, not all, but many...why do you think my doctor didn't want to use the term POTS to describe what is going on? i'm new to this forum but i do have CREST SYNDROME which i have the raynaud's mainly in my hands. I have tried all kinds of blood pressure pills and when i move up on dose to help it causes more raynauds. I've been thru alot of test in the last several years and yes i did see a gastrologist last year and he seem to think that the CREST syndrome hadn't effected my esophogus just that i had simple reflux but i have defitely come to the conclusion that all these pills and now the patches has made me have flare ups. Seems like when i'm on a upper dose that's the only time i notice it but i have to have to have something for the Raynaud's in my hands.

I've been taking medication for bipolar and anxiety for about 5 years. I'm still dealing with mood swings and changing doses on meds and that's okay. It's part of the course. My problem is that I'm stuck in the house most of the time and I really want to go out and get active again, but nobody seems to understand that I just can't move.
