Is there a home hormone test to check for menopause or peri-menopause, I can purchase without going to the doctor?

It could be that your hormone levels are too low still. How far along would you be now?

Is there a point in getting a blood test if you're already sure you're pregnant? Does it do anything other than confirm pregnancy?

I think its 10 days after conception. Because blood test is usually quantitative of HCG (the pregnancy hormone) and anything above a certain number is a positive test.

Definitely go for ultrasound bc your body produces an hcg pregnancy hormone and if you don't have that hormone in a blood test there is definitely no baby..

I am on my first round of clomid 50mg.. I take it 2-6 of my cycle.. I had a blood test on day 23 to see if I'm ovulating... the doctor said she wants to discuss the results with me.. shall I be worried?

IE, did she say what your hCG was, or did she just check for the hormone. You need to have a beta blood test to see if your hCG is above/under 5. If its under 5, you're 110% not pregnant. Even just thinking you're pregnant can cause these symptoms, and many are just part of life.

t know much about progesterone in your situation, but I do know that 104 is considered normal blood sugar. If you test 2 hours after you eat a meal, it is normal as long as it doesn't go above 130. I have know people who have normal blood sugar who occasionally go above 130, but I think as long as it doesn't happen on a regular basis there is no need to worry. Sorry I wasn't much help lori0615. Hormone levels as in HCG? I'd say no, that's not possible, there is a specific type of blood test (I believe) that you can get done to tell gender, but I don't think insurance covers it, so you'd have had to pay it out of pocket, did you have any issues that would require a specific blood test, or did you request one?

I plan on going into planned parenthood tomorrow to try and get a blood test done for better accuracy n better peace of mind. Can anyone plz tell me how long it usually takes for the blood test results to come back???
