I’ve tried various over the counter acne washes and my doctor even prescribed me a 5% benzoyl wash, which did not even do anything. I’ve also tried home remedies like aloe Vera and putting lemon juice. I also tried lemon and honey for my hyperpigmentation but sadly it did not work. I really have bad acne scars and there’s still some active acne. I really don’t know what to do anymore to the point that I’m starting to thing that this problem will last me a lifetime and won’t be cured anymore.

Benzoyl peroxide is effective for active acne lesions.Since now you are left only with scars which are a result of scratching, so they are post inflammatory hyperpigmentation scars.The treatment is the same as advised.

Im in desperate need of some home remedies that will take care of the acne on my forehead. It is so embarrassing and annoying! Hello ladies, I am 31 years old and 18 weeks into my first pregnancy. I have had very mild adult acne for the past 5 years or so but with this pregnancy it has gone from mild to I don't even want to show my face severe. Can anyone offer any remedies? I follow a daily skin regimen and have never had this issue like this before, all the moms at work say the same thing: it's just hormones.
