Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
Day 9...Yay!!! I am unbelievebly feeling great today. A moment here and there of craving or habit thoughts (reminders like), but i have been ignoring them and trying to push them out of my mind. Trying to stay busy too, especially when these moments invade my head. I know not to get to high on the highs and tooo low on the lows, but im not sure whats happening...is this part of the process or am i going to crash?? any advice on what to expect in terms of mood will help.
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
except for the penny one! My hubby was saying theres something to it because our bodies as everyone know has a magnetic field, and so does the copper in the penny. So we tried the test, we tried it over my baby and it started moving back and forth, back and forth means boy, circles means girl. And I already know im for sure having a boy.
i haVE A penny stuck in my throat. i knnow, it's been in there since 3-3-82. i wasnt even one yet. now i'm having trouble swallowing, turning my head to the right. in the back of my throat is red and swollen. i'm scared something is seriously wrong.maybe a growth. surgery is my next opinion but ive never been sick just til the last year now.heart attack, throat goes into spasms and then i cant eat or drink.
Even if we swallow a penny...it will pass through. A penny won't completely block you, try taking a laxative (not a real strong one) and drink plenty of water. If you don't go then you need to seek medical help. Hope this helps!
Mexicans believe that copper stop bleeding so she put a clean and sterilized penny on the belly button and then wrapped it around with gause. It also helps the belly button no pop out. But it takes like a week to completely heal. Ofcourse she talked about it with the pediatrician also because it was bothering my nephew too a little cuz the onesie would sometimes get stuck on him and stuff. The pediatrician was partially Mexican so she knew what she was talking about.
