Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?

We need to make room my three year old literally does not have a bedroom his crib is in our room bc there is no where to put it his toys fill up the living room! I have another baby in the way and need room but he will not get rid of nothing!
I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
I wonder if letting my alpha female hang out inside will help the other dogsbe okay with baby... You know? Since how she feels kind of determines how the others feel/react.
We have 3 indoor dogs, and 2 outdoor dogs (dont worry, we have acreage, we're not just dog hoarders... Lol people just dump em out here and three are rescues... In case you are thinking "five dogs? That girl cray cray!
We have 4 cats and a dog between us. Anything to do with cleaning them or picking up after them is done by me as he will leave vomit, feces (when the dog was a puppy) laying in the floor for days if I'd let him.
Anytime I have begged him to pick up after himself he blames me for the messes and tells me that I should do more around the house. I have picked up after him numerous times and I don't even get so much as a thank you from him.
I've never experience my self or my family hoarding, but my mother in law is one. I've gotten to the point that I avoid goi g to her home due to all the filth. There's cat feces all over the place and I don't know how to tell her that our baby will not be going over there after she's born. I will not have our baby sick because of the filth. I wish I could help you but I can't even help my her. My husband tries to avoid it too.
What is it with mother in laws nowadays. Sheesh like where's the respect and space. Their sons are no longer a babies. My in laws are hoarders so that kind of makes me feel like I can't get close to them because I've never been allowed over to their house.
It's good that you are so conserned, but the reality is that just because a person is messy and lives in filth, doesn't mean that they suffer from any form of mental illness, including depression or anxiety.
I have a coulple friends that are absolute slobs, but they are very well adjusted, successful, and mentaly healthy people.
For example: I suffer from off the chart Severe Depression, and yet my home and car are absolutly spotless. Almost to the point of perfection.

Because he lives alone, we don’t know how long he was down but he was eventually able to crawl to his couch and get his cell phone to call for help. In the hospital, they started talking about liver issues. They had run a large amount of tests to see if they could determine why he fell and found elevated liver enzymes as well as other signs of liver failure. He was admitted to a physical rehab facility and while there, we started to see alarming signs.
Told our family this weekend end with the month and year of our kids inside easter eggs. It took them a little bit to get it, but they did. Some where very excited for us. Mother in law the most. Some indifferent and just like I told my husband his sister was pissed. Got evil looks from her for about about hour. I ignored her and kept doing what ignored was doing.
