I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
A friend of mine was rushed to the hospital because he had sudden hearing loss, couldn't talk very well, slurring his words, couldn't write. A couple of weeks prior to that he was battling pneumonia and kidney stones. The docs say his brain scans are fine and they don't have any idea what is wrong with him. he's slowly getting his hearing back and has no memory of his episode. any ideas of what is wrong with him?
s vibrating violently, my lower eyelids begin shaking so much that my vision is being shaken, my hands and fingers become very numb and contort inwards towards my body almost to the point of it being painful. And the most recent episode, the skin around my mouth tightened up so bad I could hardly open my mouth to talk.
I'm on zoloft, lithium, and invega but I vaguely remember the hand contortions before ever taking medication for my depression.
I also feel that way (have on and off for many years - my current episode also started oct 2013) and it is disturbing...
is actually more like a very bad mixed episode where you just sort of snap, start screaming and crying, self-harm and suicide attempt becomes more likely. I've had several of those, although never hospitalized, where suddenly I am not myself, I am beyond myself, and I am this other thing that is just this raging screaming thing and it's like my brain exploded.
I agree with Jaquta, it will be interesting to read the expert's response... where is that fellow....
But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?
I had my second svt episode a few days ago. 7 months between episodes. I found both times I had alot of caffeine in my system and was also dehydrated. Has anybody had any dramatic svt changes by simply cutting out coffee, colas, chocolate, sugar and staying hydrated? Also does your svt episode cause you to feel exhausted for a few days? This scares the crap out of me and I am hoping to make a difference by watching what I put in my body.
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
right before I have an explosive bowel episode, I have prickling/itching on my palms, the bottom of my feet, the top of my head. Usually 20 minutes after a meal - any meal. Doesn't matter what I eat. All episodes include explosive diarrhea and cramping. I have also blacked out after the episode. I go each month for a B-12 shot. My body apparently doesn't absorb vitamins well. I have had a B-12 deficiency as well as a D deficiency.
I am now experiencing my second episode of abdominal pain - symptoms include excrutiating pain from the chest to belly button - diahorrea - nausea - lack of appetite - weight loss - fatigue and loss of concentration. I am a 35 year old female and very scared. Please help!
It feels like electricity, and lasts a few seconds to minutes, it will let off for a few minutes then come back at least for 6 times per episode. I have broken bones etc. but I have never felt pain like this before! I have no idea what could have brought this on, I have had them sporatically since I was 15 or 16, and I thought that they would go away, but they keep coming back- please help, what can I do?? What could be causing these?
I was given antibiotics and have continued to drink frequently. Last night I got the same dizzy episode so went to hospital again, low potassium this time even though I hadn't drank that much. Anyway, my urine came back clear of infection but I am still having extreme pain, pressure to wee and a lot of the time nothing comes out. I feel like I've got cystitis again but my results were negative but this pain in my bladder is unbearable.
Sounds like a vasovagal episode "attack" brought on peeing, i doubt its anything more than this but check i out with a doctor just to be sure.
