I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

Like aquarious , i had x-tra from the 1st round. in the 1st couple of months my Hemo went down to just over 10. so, i cut back to 1200 mg of riba, the "correct" dose. as soon as it started climbing i went back to 1600 for a while. then went down to 1400 untill i ran out of x-tra. the last leg of the trip i just took the prescribed 1200. i probably will tell my Dr. after SVR is official , maybe at 1 year.
Also, if you are pregnant your cervix is probably very super sensitive with x-tra blood flowing through it right now that may cause the bleeding.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
