I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
While he was in the rehab place, my family and I cleaned his house. It was like an episode of hoarders. We threw away empty gallon bottles of gin, countless bags of cans/bottles of beer and wine.
He was in the rehab facility for 4 months. He regained some strength but still wasn’t doing well. When he was discharged, we brought him home with care. We made the decision to put him with hospice and hospice agreed that his medical condition made it probable that he would die within six months.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
tonight we fooled around and had sex, a episode of true blood came on and she had to pee the whole time but held it and after the hour long episode went off she went to the rest room and came out complaining of a stabbing pain in her stomach, this was about an hour ago and she still says it hurts. does this sound like anything unusual? i feel completely fine, she said she thinks it could be a bladder infection but her urine stream is fine. any ideas?
So about 8 months ago I had an episode of blood in semen and the doctor ran a psa test which came out a little high (2.5). So then he sent me to a urologist, who said he felt something different on one side of my prostate, so he did a biopsy. The biopsy was negative. I never had any symptoms of having a hard time starting my stream or always feeling like I have to urinate. But, after this biopsy, I have been having these symptoms.
I have recently been tested for Chlamydia & gonorrhea after a low risk episode (no penetration, just frottage). When I got to the doctors i had not urinated for some time (2 hours), so i asked the doctor for a sample jar while i was waiting. I was under the impression that a mid stream sample was required and so thats what I produced. The doctor then told me that I infact needed a initial void sample, so I then produced that only 20 minutes after the first mid stream sample.
I weaned myself off of them, cancelled my appointments to my psych NP, had an extreme suicidal episode but then,,,felt much better,,,great in fact for 3 months.
Now,,,I feel like I'm starting to slide down hill again.

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
Stupid I am. I am a mechanic and a few days ago I had about 20 rusted bolts/nuts that wouldn't come apart so I sprayed them with lubricant rust spray to loosen them up... Well they still wouldn't come loose so I was forced to use a propane torch to heat them up to loosen them. While I was doing this I noticed the rust spray lubricant was boiling off and smoking.
8 months back I had a episode of blood streaks in urine. Checked with doctor, took USG of abdominal and pelvis region, blood test, urine test and culture. Nothing significant in the tests. Uroflometry test was done and urine flow was 15ml/sec average. My Prostate size was 24.8cc(I'm 40 yr old, overweight). Doctor said prostate size is bigger for my age and said it might be blocking urethera. I took tamspurt for 10 days.
I also began suffering burning like sensations for a while after each urination. Ejaculation causes a similar burn. My urine stream is normal. There is no blood. I dropped of urine for bacterial analysis today. Assuming that comes back negative...
Could this be a normal reaction to the trauma, and I can expect it to resolve soon?
Is it likely that the trauma has caused urethral inflammation or stirred up another episode of prostatitis?
It sounds like you have "anxiety disorder"- xanax should relieve the symptoms when it occurs. We can hyperventilate & not even know it! When you hyperventilate, u get too much oxygen & not enough carbon dioxide in your blood stream- it changes the PH in your blood stream & CAN be life threatening... I started to keep a paper bag in my "glove box" in my car in case it happened. I was actually driving my car also & thought I was dying too!
gross hematuria (blood that you can see in the urine), and microscopic hematuria (blood that is only seen when the urine is examined under a microscope). Both types can have serious causes. If you are passing different-shaped clots in your stream, they could represent bleeding from the urethra or prostate (in men). Clots can be wormlike, and if associated with pain it could represent clots coming from your ureters(tubes from your kidneys to your bladder).
I HAVE HAD ON MANY OCCASSIONS MY URINE STREAM WILL SPLIT. I HAVE AN AVERAGE SIZE PENIS AND WAS CIRCUMCISED AT AGE 30. I AM 45 NOW. THIS HAS BEEN BOTHERSOME TO ME FOR SOMETIME NOW. I ALSO EXPERIENCE PAIN WITH THE URINATION AND A SENSE OF NOT COMPLETELY EMPTYING OUT MY BLADDER. PLEASE HELP WITH ANY ADVICE YOU MAY HAVE. I HAVE HAD A CYSTOSCOPY IN THE PAST AND AM SCHEDULED FOR ANOTHER ON 9/26/13.
hello sir..i want to ask that i have a weak urine stream...i m a 22 years old male..also i take a bit of time to start urinating...is this due to excessive masturbation..
The only issue that I seem to have is I have split stream urination WAY more often when I have a weak urine stream. It will merge into one stream a bit after the flow starts. Every guy gets this every now and then. It happens to me very frequently now. I visited a urologist and mentioned my symptoms but he didn't seem to worry. I did not mention my encounter. Should I be worried? Is this normal? Any input is greatly appreciated.
