Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
Can you please gude if there is no risk or any risk of HIV in this episode... really appreciate the opinios of the experts..
I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
I also had one scary episode while laying in bed. I hadn't fallen asleep yet, and all of a sudden I needed to gasp for air. It lasted maybe 4-5 seconds. During the episode I was able to suck in a little air but it didn't help any and it stopped about a second or two later, then I was fine other than being a little startled. I was scared that it could be sinus pause, but I have had a normal Holter and haven't had an episode like this since. Can sinus pause make you gasp for air?
my left eye is feeling very watery and i am not sure if my floater has increased.also my left eye orbital area is paining when i concentrate hard.Will this episode of intense light entering my eye harm me in any fashion.please guide.
Hi. You won't get HIV this way. Air inactivates the virus and her finger cracks were exposed to air. The only risks for HIV are to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or to share IV drug needles. So, no reason to test.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. It is very difficult to know anything based on what you posted.
First, lab ranges even for the different labs in the US differ so without ranges - have no idea if you are low, high or normal.
Second - no idea if you are sick or how you are sick. The tests run are not really run for adrenal except DHEA (and that is really more of an adrogen - e.g. it converts to testosterone and estrogen) so not sure why it belongs in this forum.

They taught their children to not eat too much sugar, and they taught them to not stay in the sun too long, but sunshine was needed daily along with fresh air and exercise. The plate made me laugh. They say they made it color coded or something for kids over the age of 2. How many 3 year olds are preparing their own meals? This was an insult in my opion. Another thing to help those who cant think for themselves. The people in charge of our food pyramid will no doubt change it in ten years.

March 8: The severe pain disappears and has never come back. (thought I passed the kidney stone.) Internist finds blood in my urine (not visible to the naked eye).
m experiencing episodes of breathing difficulties. Not the typical asthma type though inhalers work. Each major episode started at night and lasted 6-2 weeks. I wake up with a feeling of being totally out of breath and the air lacks oxygen. It's difficult to exhale with the normal day-to-day breathing, but no problem with a bit more force. Still, it feels like the air lacks oxygen. My breathing always stops somewhere at exhaling and I actively have to breath again.
ve sort of established that the HIV virus dies/becomes ineffective almost instantaneously upon contact with air. If this is indeed the case, by right the vaginal fluids near the vaginal opening and even slightly inside the vaginal should be incapable of transmitting HIV as it would definately be somewhat exposed to air upon penetration.
I caught my breadth very quickly-maybe 2 to 3 seconds later and the episode was over. It surprised me as this was the only time that I was awake when the episode occured.

Hi, I was diagnosed as TB 3 to 4 year back but now i am fine but still one thing which is causing problem to me is breathing. I can't run fast or do hard work i got tired as if i go fast running i don't get air like i am going to die, don't know how to make my lungs heather. If any medicine which can cure my lungs or treatment please guide me. I am from india.

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?
My daughter who is now 16 started having these weird episodes since 2014 with yelling screaming and jerk movements we did the MRI, the EEG, blood test all were normal. The doc first said it might be panic attacks and sent her to a therapist, then after 2 years he said it's non epileptic seizures but there is no cure. She started with one episode in 2014{ she can hear everything but can't move} the longest one was more than 30 mn.
