I'm watching an episode where this lady has a week old baby boy and her hoarding is so bad there are dead rats everywhere! Like seriously how are these people allowed to take their kids home and keep them!?

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

Last month, April, I suffered a severe sudden episode of chest pain, squeezing hard to breathe, mid chest, nausea, jaw pain, cold sweats and feeling faint, and feelings of doom. My name is Chris im 20 years old and I just recently started back trying to workout again but a hour or so after I got home and got settled down my heart took off racing and pounding out of nowhere!! And it probably lasted for 45 mins to an hour easily and I do have a bad history of heart anxiety for about 2 years now and I've had multiple normal ekgs blood work and chest xrays all normal. my normal doctor even gave my heart a listen and said it sounds great!.. So is this just my anxiety??

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this. Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?

She has had similar symptoms in the past which subsided but the current episode is worse than the past. This has been present for 2 weeks now when she returned to the northeast from her childhood home in the southwest. She does not have asthma or COPD. Family history of breast cancer. I recently have been referred to the tia clinic due to a recent episode when I had sudden pins and needles in my right arm, vision disturbance and also speech difficulties for a period of about 5minutes however this happened before the CT scan took place which had been asked for previously because of the vision disturbance taken place and that was clear.

Just got a call from Chris, she is in the ER. Apparently she was to have a scan done on her back, but when she went in they decided to scan her lungs for fluid. She said they found alot of fluid and may need to drain..cell phone did not have great reception, so not sure if still doing scan on her back or not. She was not sure if she would be kept in hospital or not. Will update again when she calls back.
