3828469 tn?1358462325 I'm watching an episode where this lady has a week old baby boy and her hoarding is so bad there are dead rats everywhere! Like seriously how are these people allowed to take their kids home and keep them!?
1820977 tn?1317665124 So if I only have a few lesions in my brain which were not typical of MS is it possible to have them in my spine. I have never had a MRI of my spine. When I do have an episode it effects my legs the most. very weak and it take every thing I have to walk. hurts to stand or even sits to long. So I was wondering if it was possible to have more lesions in my spine. My last episode my doctor had x-rays done which showed bone spurs. What do the lesion really mean and can move or go away.
Avatar f tn I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Avatar m tn One was my stepmother for short period when I was in third grade. The other was Betty-Jo, the mother of my best friend. My stepmother was addicted to pills and Betty-Jo was a recovered alcoholic still active in AA. My stepmother, originally a sophisticated, stunningly beautiful woman of German descent, ended up taking her own life at age 32 in total isolation just a few years after my father tossed her aside in her turn.
Avatar f tn Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
1820977 tn?1317665124 I'd check with your doctor Betty. Urinary retention is common in PwMS and can lead to urinary tract infections. It is also possible for kadian to cause this. Have you only noticed it since you started taking that? Either way you need to check with your doc. Unfortunately, the drugs that help with one thing all to often cause problems with another.
Avatar f tn m am so happy with Betty Rose. She was named after my Nony Betty and my great great great grandma Rose. My Nony was so happy this whole pregnacy she tried to make it long enough to meet lil miss unfortunately Nony passed in July. But I know she was there yesterday. Thank you all again.
Avatar m tn Bob Hill and his wife Betty were vacationing in Eorope.... as it happens, near Transylvania. They were driving a rental car down a rather deserted highway. It was late and raining very hard. Bob could barely see the road in front of the car. Suddenly the car skids out of control!! Bob attempts to control the skid but to no avail. The car swerves and smashes into a tree. Moments later Bob shakes his head to clear away the fog and glances over to see his wife unconcious, with her head bleeding.
Avatar f tn They were very nice to us and I think the fact that Betty is a nurse too, went a long way toward some special treatment. The only minor downside was that the groin incision didn't stay healed all the way. They finally decided it was safe to let us go around 7 PM. Betty is tired but very happy and thanks all of you so much for all the supprot you've given her. She will write to you tomorrow herself.
Avatar f tn So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
21064 tn?1309308733 I wanted to start a thread to wish the two of you the best possible outcome on your upcoming ablations. Brooke_38 is scheduled for August 1st and Betty (mabebesc) is on for the 4th! Betty, I've been telling you about the view.......check it out!
Avatar n tn I am a 63 year old female in extremely excellent health. Never any health issue. Several days ago was awakened by an episode of SVT. Emergency room visit, hooked up to IV's filled with Cardezam. Stayed 2 days and have just come home with PVC's and PAC's. I am taking Cardezam by mouth. Will be off caffeine, chocolate, alcohol. Cardiologist recommened seeing a specialist in electrical impulses for cardiac for a possible ablation. Has anyone had an ablation?
Avatar f tn I know I'm still in the healing phase- 2 weeks and 3 days post ablation but just now I thought for sure the SVT was going to start up and I got so scared! I felt a thump, pause and then 2 or 3 fast wierd beats and thought Oh no!! but thank goodness the SVT didn't start up. When I felt my pulse, it was slow and regular. I'm still feeling that adrenaline rush!! I'm guessing that would have been an SVT episode but because of the ablation it couldn't start up.
Avatar n tn I had one episode of SVT three years ago. My heart rate went up to 270 and I had no descernible pulse or BP. I was given adenisone IV and my heart immediately regulated. I have had irregular EKG prior to this. No further episodes. No current medication. I am planning a trip to Disney World and want to know if I can go on rides that caution against riders with heart problem. Is my problem considered one that would be limit my rides? Thanks.
549433 tn?1215455620 I'm happy to see you're back- wondered how you've been. First of all, your SVT(if it truly was that) was only a very short episode(a few seconds). Don't get too frantic at this point. If it were me, I'd call my Dr. and see what he had to say. It could be something totally different but very minor and nothing to worry about. I doubt very much the original pathways can open up after being ablated.
5518191 tn?1370138175 So good Its gonna make that b*tch Betty drive home and slap her mama!!

662972 tn?1270166301 She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.
Avatar f tn 20. She had just finished eating a late dinner, and was relaxing on the couch when the episode occured. She was very calm when she approached me and told me her heart was racing. I, having svt myself, told her to sit down, and I checked her pusle. She had a heart rate of 144 beats per minute. I got her to cough several times, and contiuned to monitor her heart rate. After about ten minutes I drove her to the fire station near our house.
Avatar f tn I wanted to involve my girls in the reveal so I did a box full of balloons and had them decorate the box in both pink and blue then they opened it.
Avatar f tn The SVT was affecting my life-now I go about my life and hardly ever think of getting an episode. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I was so scared before I had it done and was pleasantly surprised that the procedure was no big deal to go through. Good luck and keep us posted.
1820977 tn?1317665124 I just started copaxone on Monday but I started haveing an episode last week. I had an appointment on Wed. they saw how hard it was for me to even walk and how much pain I was in. so he started me on kadian. I have tried gabapentin and baclofen did not work to well. I am all so on Noratryptline, zonisamide (tremors) tizanidine for muscle and headaches and diazepam so I can sleep through the night. It helps but I still wake up with night sweets but at least not from muscle pain.
