I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
take your meds - if you have permanent AF I would guess you're on a beta blocker, and warfarin or aspirin ? Xarelto is a newer warfarin alternative but not if you have had valve problems. My wife has had AF for about 10 years and takes these meds and just lives with it.
As itdood says, just do the best you can and don't let it control your life. Don't worry about a single episode of VT, it probably won't happen again.
While he was in the rehab place, my family and I cleaned his house. It was like an episode of hoarders. We threw away empty gallon bottles of gin, countless bags of cans/bottles of beer and wine.
He was in the rehab facility for 4 months. He regained some strength but still wasn’t doing well. When he was discharged, we brought him home with care. We made the decision to put him with hospice and hospice agreed that his medical condition made it probable that he would die within six months.

It is clear that such activities raise concern for you. As a result, my additional advice is that it would probably be in your best interest to stay out of such facilities. Hope this helps.

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.

Sure sounds like you were on the verge of having a panic attack. The wonderful news is you've found a way to head them off at the pass! Most of us spend half our lives trying a million different things to stop a panic attack, most which don't work unfortunately.
If this is the first time you've experienced panic or anxiety, I would recommend going to the doctor and having a thorough physical, to rule out any medical causes.
You mention exercise and I find that brisk walking or light jogging is the best for me. I enjoy being out and the Sussex Downs are a great place to be at this time of year. I have a cross trainer for when it rains but the peace and quiet of the Downs provides both exercise and relaxation.
For the sake of our child, whom I genuinely believe he does care for, I allowed him to stay but kept my distance. This morning I woke up to my best friend urging me to go downstairs and bust him because he was pretty sure that he saw him.... with a man. With no hesitation, I went down stairs to the patio to find a tranny looking black dude against the wall with his butt out and my baby's father's unmentionables in there.
Last night I had a scary episode of pvcs. I even had to call an emt. My heart rate was161 and I was having pvcs every fourth beat. I have never had this before. I am only 25 and am scared! It woke me up out of my sleep. Now I am worried of going into vtach! Can that happen to me???
No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?
Thanks all! I will have to talk about other medicinal options with her psychiatrists. I've been researching Topomax so I think I'm going to make that suggestion. This is heartbreaking for me to watch and actually realize what bipolar really is and what it takes people through. I mean I've always known about it, but until you see it and/or go through that's when a true understanding is reached.
