973741 tn?1342342773 Has anyone watched that new A&E series, Panic 911? It gets my blood racing!! It has been airing on Thursday evenings at 10 pm.
662972 tn?1270166301 I have been watching the A&E series on hoarders. Very scary. My guess she won't clean much if she is one. Basically swirl the same chit around into a different pile in a different corner....ya, know?.......If I were you...as horrible as this may sound...you would be doing her a favor turning her into the Humane Society. Normal people don't have 16 dogs and they don't die of disease and buried in their yard...Ya know. Parvo is a horrible disease for an animal to die of.
3828469 tn?1358462325 My house never smells like dig and litter box is scooped everyday, by my 11 yr old son for now. I have a neighbor who had cos called in her by a teacher cause her kid was dirty always. She works for 911 so got it squashed. Her of all ppl should know better!!
Avatar f tn Hi, I stand corrected. Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
Avatar f tn Before this pregnancy I used to keep a very very clean house. Like, show room model home clean. And literally I swear the day of conception the lazy a s s switch turned on because i can't think of anything less enticing than sweeping or picking up. Anyone else experienced this? I need to figure something out because I used to be so tidy and I'm only in my 1 trimester and if it keeps going in like this I'm gonna be on the next episode of hoarders!
Avatar m tn Most recently, I have undergone treatment from an otolaryngologist (ENT) who conducted a series of labs that revealed environmental allergies, food intolerance/leaky gut syndrome, and low thyroid. I have since been on an allergy elimination diet and taking 30 mg of Armour Thyroid. However, I have noticed no difference in my aforementioned mental symptoms. I have done all I know to do.
Avatar f tn But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
Avatar f tn Hoarding is a problem they have not you. It makes hoarders keep ppl at a distance. I wouldn't take it too personal. Most ppl in any problem still need ppl around that care.
Avatar f tn Intervention is a whole series on A&E. they show re-runs on other channels. It has been on for quite a few years now. Where I live it's shown at 8 & 9 on mondays during the regular season which just ended. They have had a few shows with pill addicitons being the focus. Check your local guide you can find re-runs all the time. It is a real show they do real interventions and also follow up shows so you can see how the people are doing. I love that show!!
272338 tn?1252280404 Chris, I love the tv series Army Wives. They have also made a big deal out of breast cancer, even a giveaway mustang. I wish we could all make the public more aware of ovca. Thanks for writing your mag. I don't subscribe so I can't cancel anything.
Avatar m tn Yes, regular work and exercise... I have low vitamin levels so he put me on a supplement daily. I still have a cycles of symptoms twitches, minor hearing issues I've noticed a lot is brought on by stress. I've just accepted it as a part of me! Henderson is great by the way he ordered a series of new MRI and test... Everything is good so far I have been blessed.
Avatar f tn Viral load and ALT in particular. What are they now? Were you e-antigen negative or positive? What are you now? That gives a better idea of the full picture. Regardless, reducing your viral load and getting your liver function w/in normal range is good and you should be happy about that.
Avatar f tn It feels like I have strands of ?? something in my hair. Its impossible to get a comb or brush thru my hair. Its so hard to e xplain. No one can see anything but I feel it. I can do series of "3's" like loops in my hir to relieve the tension. Sometimes I just go to bed and cry. This first started years ago but it was like there were strands of suff inmy eyes. thats gone away but. then the hair thing started. I also have noticed strange holes in my clothes.
214607 tn?1287677559 t seen a championship since the 76ers beat the lakers in 83. And the phillies last won the world series in 80'. So this city was due for a win, and to have it be the phillies is just so unexpected and unreal. This city is crazy right now. Schools are closing for the parade tomorrow. I am leaving work at 12 for the parade. Its so cool. And to be able to say I went and have my ticket, thats just so unreal.. Thanks so much sweetie, hope you are feeling better..
Avatar n tn Okay, you need to find out her e-antigen status because e-antigen positive HepB is dealt with differently than e-negative. At this point, however, things look fine. The current treatment guidelines typically followed have treatment levels as: For e-negative, treat when DNA is greater than 2000 IU/ml. She's below that right now but you need to do a series of panels to see if she is staying below that or if she's creeping up or if she's bouncing around in that area.
1035863 tn?1253349888 The E in ENT stands for eyes. So yes, you should consult him. But remember, doctors oppose all natural remedies. I have no idea what systear is, but if it's natural and not pharmaceutical, there are very few doctors who will be of much help to you. You have to search them out. And if the medication you're on is an antibiotic, you should, as soon as you quit taking them, start on a good refrigerated probiotic from a good health food store (which means not GNC).
Avatar f tn First get all of your labs done. ALT, HBVDNA, E Antigen status, and etc. Then read about the shot schedule for,the baby. If you don't have a very high viral load and give the baby shots you will have a very high chance of preventing transmission.
1738923 tn?1327326669 systemMessage=Wiley+Online+Library+will+be+disrupted+4+Feb+from+10-12+GMT+for+monthly+maintenance __________________________ The influence of e-antigen upon the course and outcome of acute type B hepatitis was studied in a series of 202 patients. Of these, 54 (27%) had e-Ag, detected in the serum at the same time as HBsAg during the incubation period or at onset.
4284790 tn?1359164578 I have a series of small bumps on my forearm that are not itchy, flesh coloured, a little pearly looking?, and dry-looking. They HAVE NOT, as I've said, itched, been painful, or grown in size. They go up to the inside of my upper arm, there are only 6, they look like bug bites but are not, again, itchy. The one on the inside of my muscle and on the inside of my elbow look like a rash. They've been here for a few weeks, pushing a month.
Avatar n tn You don't need to have a "severe" case to get a biopsy. A biopsy is just a way to get a look at what is really happening to your liver. Its really the only way to know that is widely available at this time. You ALT is mildly elevated which could indicate liver inflammation and cell death and your bilirubin I guess is high (indicated by the H). The bigger issue is that you are e-antigen (HBe Ag) negative but your viral load is high for e-negative.
