Hindemith sonata for four horns

Common Questions and Answers about Hindemith sonata for four horns

sonata

Avatar f tn The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience. Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar f tn Both my 11 year old daughter and I have prominent temporal horns on our CT scans and I was wondering what the cause could be? Regular headaches and migraines were the reason for the CT scan. I also have Chiari but decompressed. It's hard to find much information online. Is this something that should be further investigated?
Avatar f tn Some children are not ready for school at age four. Time was when a child's first school experience was age five when he started kindergarten. And some didn't start school until first grade, at age six. Sending kids off to school at age three or four is a relatively recent practice. If your son is not ready for school, it is a bad idea to force him to go. All you will achieve is a very bad experience for him that may color his whole approach to schooling.

Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn She has been under the care of the same psychiatrist for her Bipolar for several years, and has never had symptoms like this before. We even decreased her Bipolar Meds to see if that was the cause, and decreasing the meds made no difference in these new physical symptoms. She already has Bipolar, ADHD, Strabismus (corrected at 3 years old). Otherwise, she has been healthy, no allergies. Her psychiatrist suggested we rule out Migraines versus Multiple Sclerosis based on her symptoms.
Avatar f tn Hey, I took Seroquel for yrs for my anxiety and it worked quite well. But finally stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance. But it never put me out.
Avatar f tn Minimal T2 and FLAIR hyperintensity adjacent to the frontal horns and occipital horns likely representing subtle early mild chronic microvascular white matter ischemic changes." Is this anything to be concerned about.
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar f tn Thank you so much! You made me laugh out loud when I read that! I love the idea of a "shot party!" I took my Riba this morning and I just felt dizzy for a couple of hours. I'm fine now and off for my shot in 5 hours. Thanks for celebrating for me!
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I started clonezepam for my sleep apnea, I twitch all the time in my leg/arm before I fall asleep and I seem to have slept well even without bipap once I felt this urge to write something and I started twitching like I had a seizure for a few minutes
Avatar f tn Just something fun for the mammas to answer what type of music calms your baby?
Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
271792 tn?1334979657 Ah. Well "someone" corrected me on my "hook em horns" comment in reference to Dallas. I can't think of Texas without thinking "hook em horns" and it is such an all purpose phrase that I don't get to use way up here in the buckeye state (am a former Texan). It's fun to say. Say it--- you'll see. And now I must reference 'hook em horns' for Dallas and Houston for every week just to be annoying.
Avatar f tn I just received a copy of my latest brain MRI report. It wasn't done with an MS protocol, so I knew it wasn't necessarily looking for lesions (and none were mentioned), but this is what it does say: Impression: 1. Normal or nearly normal MRI examination of the brain w/o contrast. 2. There is a very slight asymmetry of the lateral ventricle temporal horns, right minimally larger than left, sometimes seen with slight atrophy of the right hippocampal formation.
Avatar m tn Yah, I took all that junk at 12 and it's now 1300 and I'm about to keel over. Sonata or lunesta both work for me, ambien did too when that's what I could get. But only when mixed with the other stuff. Folks have told me that my 'cocktail' is going to make my liver fail and that that's a very painful death. The death part doesn't bother me, but I don't want my last awareness to be one of pain.
