So who all is experiencing a heat wave where they live, and who has felt like complete crap since it started?

No heat wave this year but last year it was horrible, and its very dangerous to get a heat stroke, but in Montreal they have a heat wave and humidity its horrible, and that his not a good combination for me because Im allergic to water and my own sweet so I can't do anything :(

Yesterday night i was making a pizza When i open the oven door a heat wave come in My face and eyes . I immediately close the eyes but this was after the wave ,now my vision is normal and the eyes also look normal but I feel something weird on the eyes like a small burning sensation and some head ache maybe I guess the head ache can be that I got nervous . This have never happened to me and I didn’t make anything different or I put my face really near the oven the heat wave just came .

as of today i am 35+5. this heat wave on the east coast got me really good, I did not go out side for almost 7 days... its been SOOOO hot and humid... my goodness plus i have been having BH since 7/8 and this is week 3 of it and its getting more and more annoying and painful as time draws near. now i am having back pain with cramps along with the hardening of the belly.... i swear who ever said BH don't hurt must not have one that takes yur breath away and stops u in mid walk...

Out here on East Coast we are entering a heat wave this week and even now it is NO joke outside in the end of May, I cant even imagine what the rest of summer will be like. I was only out for ten mins with my dogs and felt myself burning. Please stay hydrated and watch your time in the sun. Even with SPF you will burn. So if you want to get some color, please protect yourself.

I have a supplement regimen I take that has been a huge help except for when this really nasty heat wave moved in on the east coast. I also would suggest (I tell everyone this, so many are probably rolling their eyes...), to keep a food diary, see if you are eating or drinking anything that causess your symptoms to flare up. I was having such extreme good and bad days that we knew there had to be some trigger.

Thank God this heat wave has finally broken. The heat was making me sick.

He got a totally new perspective, in the middle of a 10 day record braking heat wave, and our airconditioner decided it was a great time to brake down. The day's were in the 100's and the nights only dropping to the 90's, day after day and i just couldn't cool down hmmmm i'm sure you can guess how much fun in the sun i was having.......NOT! Pitty i can't get a tune up, like i did when the car kept over heating :D Cheers..........

I got waaay overheated before we got an air conditioner put in. Heat wave struck. Anyway, my hand and most of my arm is half numb and tingling. Almost like I'm holding an electrical cord. Anyone else ever have this? It's making me nervous. You know...what now?

I actually took the job offer in the Middle East because I wanted to see how I did in the dry heat. Just about everything was air conditioned. Air conditioning is the key. The dry heat and air conditioning were key. Then I took a job transfer to Germany and all hell broke loose. In hindisight, nothing was air conditioned. I was constantly overheating and that's when I had my first time of not being able to walk/use my legs for a week.

Are any of you guys from los Angeles? And is this heat wave driving you insane?

When will people learn...you do not leave defensiveless babies and children alone in vehicles, and especially not in the kind of heat wave being experienced in the east right now. Bad enough at any time though! I've called the police for this, except in our case it was dead of winter and a baby no older then my son (who was just a few months old at the time) was alone in the car in the parking lot at Walmart.

I experienced the itchies but can not remember if it was due to heat..When we had a heat wave here last summmer, I got a dose of extreme fatigue and weakness in legs with burning up both shins..I could barely stand up I was so weak and tired...Don't know if it relates..

Seasonal allergies really seem to contribute my migraines. Extreme heat can also trigger my migraines. Also, many summer activities such as mountain climbing/hiking or sitting/lying around in the sun for too long can trigger my migraines or make them worse. When it goes from heat to rain, that almost always triggers a migraine for me, and that can happen quite a bit around where I live.

Oh, man... I would definitely not move to Florida. I live in Texas, and the recent heat wave has trapped me indoors. I can't spend any time outside because it wipes me out. I know somebody who takes an ice pack with him in a cooler, just so he can walk from the office to his car without being debilitated. Humidity and heat are even worse than just heat. There's something oppressive about humidity that drains your energy.

You can make yourself an Oral Rehydration Drink to sip on during this heat wave. 5 cups water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 Tbs. sugar and a pinch of baking soda. Or drink some watered-down Gator Aid or Pedialite. Please take care of yourself. This heat wave has caused a lot of problems for people who aren't used to this type of weather. Some end up in the hospital with heat stroke, heat exhaustion or dehydration.

52am and i cant sleep im so hot im sitting on the floor in front of my vent letting the air hit me... i took a cold shower and have tried everything i can think of! Am i the only one going through this????
