heat

6202880 tn?1380332653 Went to see my chiropractor this morning and she gave me a tip for morning sickness. Heat a cup of water and squeeze the juice from a whole lemon into it and drink it. You have to do it every day for 4 days I think she said and you'll start feeling better. It's a gentle liver detox and it works for 3 out of 4 of her clients. Just thought I'd pass that on for all you nauseous mommas!
Avatar f tn Has any mothers on here used marijuana to help morning sickness and depression? I've heard a lot of people say it is the only thing that works, but I'd like to know what anyones experience with it is. Anything to worry about if I did?

Avatar n tn ll be one of those ones that will have sickness throughout the whole pregnancy seeing that I am 14 weeks and this sickness has in no form or fashion subsided. I've even changed my diet a little and it doesn't matter what I eat or drink. Whether I eat healthy or slightly unhealthy. I'll drink some juice and the sickness will just overflow my body. Pineapples, chips etc. it doesn't matter.

Avatar m tn If your pain is not a regular thing and you are looking at pain relief - then ice packs can help more than heat on occasion, and hydrotherapy via a physio. Caution though - a good physio would want a scan before treating to ensure they know what to treat.
354373 tn?1299184526 I got prescribed meds from my doctor for morning sickness but really all it did was make me narcoleptic and someone told me about the seasickness bracelets and they worked like a charm.

Avatar f tn The heat was torture until I took my shower in the am instead of pm. I also at the end make the water as cold as I can deal with to rinse off. It lowers your body temperature enough to help deal with the heat but not enough to hurt baby. It's worked wonders! I barely broke a sweat today and it was 97 out!
Avatar f tn heat packs, massage, panadol, rest.!
Avatar f tn I'm 7 weeks (just confirmed my pregnancy today) is there a cure for morning sickness?
336902 tn?1242006090 I am going to be 8 weeks tomorrow pregnant with my 3rd child. And I am tired all the time!!! All I want to do is to lie down. I don't have morning sickness so I can eat fine. So it does not matter what I eat or how much sleep I get I am still tired. Just hoping this improves going forward.
Avatar f tn If anyone has issues like these or solutions, I could really use any help my next dr appt isnt for another few daysi just would like to get comfortable since my entire pregnancy I have been feeling like poop between these problems and morning sickness.
Avatar f tn So now I take both Raglan and Zofran for morning (all-day) sickness. A home remedy that I find useful is drinking ginger tea (ginger root peeled and sliced, with hot water. You can add sugar or honey for taste). Good luck!
Avatar f tn I also noticed that my appetite has been going down over the last couple weeks but i thought it was from the heat... zofran is not helping with the nausea at all! Miserable mommy!!
Avatar f tn Ive read in so many places that ginger is good for morning sickness, but ive also read not to take too much because it could be bad for the baby, to only use it to season food and not to drink ginger tea or to eat it. So ive quit using it but it was helping. Just wondering if anyone knoes anything about this?
