having sex after d&c

I'm pregnant and my boyfriend said it feels "softer and wetter" inside, and if it feels different during pregnancy I'm sure it will after a D&C, maybe it will become normal soon and you're finishing up healing.

I was just wondering how long sex hurt was uncomfortable or you bled after D&C. My doctor said wait a week, we did but now I'm having some bleeding and low grade period cramps (more like ovulation pains). Is this normal? Did we not wait long enough? I'm not worried because the cramping is so light and the bleeding is really light as well, just curious. Thanks!

I had a D&C June 10 and recieved my period July 16. If ovulation is soppose to be 10-14 days I might have concieved this weekend. Problem is is that I am having symptoms (nausea & vomitting). I am terrified to take a pregnancy test. Is there anyone who has become pregnant after a D&C before there expected ovulation date. Would a pregnancy test even say possitive if it is early on (next expected period in a week). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had a missed misscarriage followed by a D&C on Feb. 15th. :{ I was crused. I was 8 weeks but the baby wasn't developing and had no heartbeat. I had very little spotting for a day after procedure. Well the other day(March 2nd) I could feel what I thought was ovulation pain. The next day I thought AF had started and ran to the bathroom and it was c.m.(egg white). I also have had(and still having) weird sensations in my abdomen where my uterus is.

It's from the sex your body is still having after the d&c had it happened naturally it would be a bit different healing process. When you orgasm your uterus contracts.

and you would not be getting a baby bump 2 weeks after having sex..and that being a week after you had a dnc done. but yes you can get pregnant right after it...

My fiance and I had unintentional unprotected sex 4 days after the d and c and now he is freaking out and worrying me that I could have gotten pregnant. I wanted to give my body time to heal before we try again so I just want someone to confirm for me that there is no chance I could get pregnant so soon after? Thanks in advance.

I was 9 weeks pregnant and went in for my second appointment. The doctor sadly confirmed that I was having a miscarriage. It shocked me, and I was scheduled for a d&c the following Monday. The doctor said to wait 4 weeks, but me and my boyfriend had sex a week later and have been active ever since. When I went to my follow up on Jan 5 I did blood tests and everything, including pregnancy came back negative. I did not experience a normal period. Was I supposed to bleed heavily or not?

D&Cs are good for "cleaning" yourself out. I know a woman who had one because of her periods. I suppose this might help. I'm sure your doctor wouldn't suggest it if it were harmful or not necessary.

ok so i stoped bleeding from my miscarriage for about a week now and i know i probly should have waited to have sex but i felt fine no bleeding no cramping nothing after the sex, but i guess i wanna know if its posable to do any damage buy having sex this soon? and is it posiable to get an infection from the seman?

I stopped bleeding a few days after and immediately started having sex again. Throughout the 3 weeks after my d and c I was having sex a lot. Now 3 weeks and a couple days past the procedure I am having light cramps, I'm wondering if I could have conceived at 2 weeks and now I'm having implantation cramps? I had a d&c yesterday for what would have been a m/c. I was told by my OB to be on pelvic rest for 3 weeks so not to intraduce any infection into pelvis. He also did not want to take a chance for a conception since you can ovulate as early as 2 weeks after the m/c. Each Ob has different beliefs, I would call my doctor and discuss it with him.

with my 5wk loss, I bled for about 4weeks until I passed everything at home. with my recent 16wk loss, I delivered naturally in hospital after being induced, and then had an emergency d&c 2 days after because the placenta didn't all come out. After the d&c I was pain free and bled for about 2wks, a little less.
