I'm 24, and I've never had any issues with my periods always on time never missed them. Up until few months/ almost a year ago. I've started having my periods delayed a lot say almost 2 weeks or so away from the date. I'm a bit confused for what might be the reason. The only thing different is that I'm sexually active with my boyfriend. But we use protective measures everytime. I'm not on any contraceptive pills or anything like that.

I WOULD GET THESE HORRYIFYING EPISODES OF DIARREAH, I WOULS BE SWEATING PROFUSELY AND IN PAIN FOR HOURS. IT DIDNT HAPPEN OFTEN EVERY FEW MONTHS JUST ONE OR TWO DAYS EACH TIME. HOWEVER, WITH IN THE LAST 11 MONTHS HAVE LOST 40 POUNDS (SIZE 8 TO A SIZE 2) W\O TRYING. I WEIGH LESS TODAY THAN I DID IN 5TH GRADE, I DONT LOSE WEIGHT (I HAVE PCOS). No i havn't taken a pregnancy test i was thinking i should but i've read implantation only last's a couple days and i've had this for aleast four days darkish and lightish. You may be having a long cycle resulting in a later period and this is spotting beforehand. That has happened to me. While pregnancy 'could' happen, it is less likely in the mid to late 40's. Have you had a pelvic exam any time recently?

I just found out I have a submucosal fibroid. I was bleeding for a week and having mild to severe cramping for three straight weeks. I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
